I used to be a Borgata regular (back when the room was downstairs), and then I moved away from the area. I recently moved back to the East Coast and have made two trips to the Borg to play 20-40 and 40-80 hold'em. Those are my regular games; however, I am THRILLED to see all of this discussion on 2 + 2 about mixed games and a seemingly regular HORSE game!! I assure you Stan/Borg: There ARE a lot of us out there who want these mid-limit mixed games, even if they are hard to get started. I commend the Borg for accommodating the players' wishes to play the mixed games, and I promise that I will be back as soon as I can to play them. GO HORSE!!!

I will say, however, that we had a bad experience with our room rate. My father and my friend and I got two rooms, and we were eventually told by the front desk that they would be comped. There was some confusion at first because we were promised the poker rate, were not given it, and the front-desk was so embarrassed by the ensuing series of screw-ups that they indicated they would comp the rooms for us when we spoke with them in person. Also, my friend and my father had played a good bit of money on the table games and slots, so we were further told that there would be no problem comping the rooms on that basis alone. Fast-forward a month later, we get the credit card bill, and have been charged for both rooms. I called last week to get the charges removed, spent in excess of an hour on the phone (over the course of two separate calls), and was told there was "nothing that can be done at this time" because we were given "the poker rate" (which I question). I am not happy about this, and my father and friend have written the Borgata off as stingy. I don't know what to do in the future, because I am very fond of the poker room and staff, but don't want to deal with that type of aggravation again. If there is anything that can be done, Stan, I would really appreciate it. If not, I understand--and you will, in all likelihood--keep me as a loyal customer (because your part of the casino is so well run, and the action is great). But I have to say this wasn't handled well by the Borgata staff (THOUGH I HAVE NOTHING BUT GOOD TO SAY ABOUT THE POKER ROOM STAFF!). Thank you.

I've never seen the room so full. It's basically all tournament tables, but I only saw one table in the entire room not in use. That table was probably a recently-broken tournament table where a cash game will soon begin.

I'm coming down to play in the O/8 tourney on Friday. Will play Saturday but have to leave around 2. Would love to play in mixed cash game on Sat instead of HOSE tourney

I have seen these games listed in various different ways in the past few days. I have seen the pink chip game on the board as either 10-20 or 7-15, there was a promising list for 4-8 yesterday, the games may be razz, HORSE, I'd even play ORE, also sign up for 15-30...see you folks this weekend, make sure you take a look at the sign-up boards to see the wide variety of games offered!

Wait, is it true that you can only book 2 comps/week? So if I show 4 comps on the calendar for one week, I can only redeem 2 and then pay for the other 2? If so, that's both whack and stupid. If it shows comp you should be able to book it as comp.

Different people get different offers, but assuming you got two comps/week, you would still need to contact Stan for third night, and if you got a sea of green, you are probably eligible for poker rate as well, - the offers are the best around, it isn't even close...

This doesn't answer my ?. If I show 4 comps on my calendar per week (m-th), can I book all 4 as comps? I thought I could, but then I called and she told me that I can only book 2 out of the 4 per week and then I would have to pay $59/night for the other 2. How do I get that 3rd and 4th night comped as well?

* you may book two (2) per week, the calendar shows you which nights are eligible to be comped, while supplies last, you then pick two *

(C) I thought I could, but then I called and she told me that I can only book 2 out of the 4 per week and then I would have to pay $59/night for the other 2.

Me too. The problem is with Borgata's website, not your computer.
