If you have ever walk through showboats bus area you will quickly find out why Borgata doesn't have one.....let's just say I accidently walked down there once and i feel safer walking down the ghetto streets of philly

i would play the borgata a lot more if they had a bus. as of now, i usually check the taj and if a game looks good i just stay. i end up playing the entire night at taj about a third of the time. although if it's a weekday i always end up at the borgata. i wish buses went to the borgata.

The Jitney to Borgata is $2.25. Are you just lazy?

Standing out on the street near the Taj to catch the jitney can cost you a lot more than $2.25, unfortunately.

yeah i'm lazy! and why stand on the street waiting for a jitney to drive another 15 minutes if there is a game right there? if the games suck, i go. if a bus went straight there it would be a lot easier. do you take a bus and then a jitney? wouldn't you prefer a bus that went straight there?

Question about the freeroll on the 8th: If your name is on the giant list on the poker promotion website, does that mean you are "invited" ?

The reason I ask is, I don't recall playing 80+ hours this month, but it has me up as having the full amount of chips. Type perhaps or a misprint?

Finally about how many runners for the freeroll? 300?

I don't. I'd rather not have that kind at the borgata. 90% of the people who go on buses are ghetto people and old people.

In fact I wish they'd make it harder to get a black card. I hate it when there's a line going into the amphora lounge.

I don't feel uncomfortable in the Taj's bus area. Is Showboat's that bad?

the people taking the bus for the most part are the scum of the earth
the port authority 5 am crowd is also ammusing

basically during the day I have no problem waiting for the jitney by the boardwalk casinos

at night ill only wait outside the borgata

the first time i took the bus back from ac at night i took a cab from the borgata thinking it would be dangerous getting off
the cab took forever and was a waste of money

the next time i took the jitney and got from the boardwalk to showboat in 6 mins, and it stops right outside the showboat bus station

does anyone know if jitneys run to the borgata in both directions
last time i took it to the borg and passed the whole boardwalk before it went to the borg

After some downtime, I'm finally coming back this afternoon before 4 PM for some NLHE action and make my possibly final visit to the Amphora Lounge. Eager to see how the poker room renovation is doing, after seeing one-half of the room with new carpeting two weeks ago. After a close call, let's see if I nail the BBJ.

As my black-label expires next month, I haven't been a playing a lot as a regular to due to my financial situations the last few months and to keep up with my quota. But all I could say, either winning or losing, I love the Borgata and will continue visit when I can. It's the only room I enjoy. Kudos to Stan and the staff for running a world-class place.

Played pink chip 8 mix last night. It was a lot of fun even though donated a decent amount. We tried to add 2.5-2.5 PLO with 150 CAP to the mix when it got 4 handed, but for some reason the Floor insisted that that if we wanted to add it then it had to be 7.5-15 PLO which sounds insane to me. It promptly ended the game. Other than that it was good times!
