So what's the deal with Titanium Cards? What benefits do they get and how do you get one?

A quick Google search came up with:

1) You don't wait on line. You are the first seated in all of the restaurants;

2) You have a private check in area with a lounge with snacks and drinks (this is separate from the Amphora (Black label) room.

3) When you dine at the Amphora lounge, you get an entire bottle of wine instead of a glass.

4) In some of the restaurants, you get a chef prepared appetizer for you and your guest.

5) You get $500 bonus dollars every month (this may be more depending on how high you are)

6) You can get complimentary tickets to any of the the concerts at the Borgata.

7) There are yearly, charted and comped, trips to Las Vegas.

8) Special parties and gifts.

9) You stay in only suites;

10) You get more nights per week complimentary and you are hardly ever turned down.

And you get one by playing..............A LOT!

Play the 300-600 mix game regularly, or lose like ~100k a year at the tables. Even playing 10/25nl 40hrs a week will not get you plat.

I think Stan has been influenced by the dark side of the force(tournament games) and it is our job to get him back to the light side (cash games) by rolling out more comps, free-rolls (not during the week now that I have responsibilities weekdays after Labor Day) How do we go about this? Invite him to play in a cash game so he may appreciate the beauty of cash games. Tell him hoe much you miss extra comps for playing x hours a month, etc. We need a well planned PR campaign to get Stan to spend more of the operating budget on comps and goodies for cash players. All joking aside that billboard which is at the entrance to the Lincoln tunnel will bring in great crowds. The key is too let these crowds know from Day 1 the great comps and goodies they will get for playing 'cash' games in the month of October!

dipce

Your point is nice in theory but come on this is the main event the borgata has all year and what seperates them tournament wise from the entire east coast of poker. Stan MUST put all his energy into that and its unrealistic to expect otherwise

I'm sure dipce is just messin' around. Promos are needed during slower months. With September bound to be huge, what's the need for a promo?

I got free room offers after playing 10 hours of 1 2nl. Dont get that at Foxwoods. Borgatta promos are great compared to other venues. I can understand from a players perspective the Borgatta pokerroom staff concentrating all its efforts on the Poker Open in September. The event will bring more exposure and traffic to the room .

Question about the bravo card system. Does it just log amount of hours a player plays? I was wondering if bravo player card swipe is able to assess how much player bets at the poker table and pays in rake per hour. Checked googe am assuming just keeps track of hours played. I know it also rates dealer hands dealt per hour.

Software keeps track of much more than simply hours played. System also keeps track of the comps per hour and awards them 'immediately' once the dealer has punched you out when you pick up your chips and leave the game. The Borgata comps for 1-2 players 1.5/hour are the best around!

I don't think Bravo keeps track of anything but hours and limits you play. I guess it could be coordinated with the shuffle machine to keep track of hands dealt, but I really doubt that it does, and even then it would miss hand shuffles, and count some misdeals twice.

it definitely can (and probably) does keep track of deals. if anyone looks at that stat... who knows? and you may be right about counting misdeals. but i know some rooms in pa use bravo to keep track of the number of hands each dealer deals. one of the pa casinos... i think hollywood... gives a prize to the dealer with the highest average count per half-hour each month.

I am sure it does keep track of hands, at least the ones dealt, I was playing one of the table games 3 or 4 years ago and the floor person was able to tell me how many hands of that game I played for that year.

Is it time for a game report yet? Heading down soon.

the casino tracks table games way closer than poker. it's their money youre trying to win in the table games.

I knew it was easy to start getiing comp room offers but i didn't know exactly how easy it was. How long did it take for you to notice the comp room offers on your account? I'm assuming around a week after the play.

Fast is not always best. It helps, don't get me wrong, but accuracy and game management should also be a factor.

If you have played and have not yet received a room offer, I have found the Borgata to be the most generous in granting poker players complimentary rooms even before a room offer has been spun out in writing.

***

Fast room offers are not always best. It helps, don't get me wrong, but the fact Borgata recently put out the BEST room offers of any poker room within a three hour drive from NYC should also be a factor in your decision to start playing at Borgata!

Not specifically about the Borg, but anyone else noticing the oddity in this thread in which there is an extra page # listed but it doesn't seem to exist yet?

Right now, with my set up (100 per page), I see page 164 and 165, but if I click 165, it takes me to the top of 164.
