Ill be there Saturday Morning. Gonna play the SAT to the double play, Then Ill be back on Monday to play the Double play no matter what.

I was there from 11am til Midnight Sund...no BBJ chasing just a scheduled trip. Solid 13 hour session.....and of course i forgot to clock out. I do that half the time. Gotta start keeping my card in the cup holder.

I was playing 1-2nl on Monday and on a river I bet $10 into the $10 pot. I got 2 callers and I flipped up K9 (and said "King nine") on a QQ988 board. The 2nd guy mucked and the third guy across the table said "I have a nine" - showing J9. All cards were face up and exposed.

The lightening fast dealer mucked all the cards and awarded the pot to the other guy and moved the button. For a few seconds I was not sure what had happened. I thought he must of had a Queen but he didn't raise. The 3 guys next to me said I won the pot and when I asked the other guy what he had, he said he had "J-9".

I called the floor (the next hand was being played out) and explained all cards were face up.

The dealer said he thought I said "King high" and since I didn't contest the pot IMMEDIATELY, I had no right to object. I asked the other guy to chop the $40 but he said he didn't "see" my nine and refused (nice guy).

The floor said they couldn't do anything about the hand. I was pretty flustered. The floor manager (large black man) told me to come by after I was done playing and see him, but after a few more hours of playing I didn't see him around and I had to leave.

Of course the dealer apologized but what does that help? I'm not dying over $40 but I'm not happy either.

That sucks.

One of my rules is "Do not relinquish a winning hand until the pot is pushed to me."

Remembering this could help you in the future.

Yea...Do not relinquish hand until pot is shoved my way or shown a winner. It's why I never throw my cards to show. I just flip them in place, and put my hand on it.
