He may be referring to the Free Parking passes that get mailed out. I've been getting them for a few months now. This last one included 2 each for May and June. Each one is good for one use each, not unlimited free parking for the month like they did a while back.

I just returned from a trip up there, but didn't use the parking pass since I was staying in the hotel thanks to two comped nights.

So where exactly do I get to use all my comp $ at? Seems every food place I've been to is taking 2:1.

U can use them anywhere but the food court. Bread and Butter, Metropolitan, Noodles of the World, any of the fine dining places. I think the gift shop is 2:1 as well.

Don't use them downstairs. All the Borg restaurants and the buffet takes comp$ 1:1. They're better anyways, so never use comp$ downstairs if you can help it. Unless you have a lot to burn.

Of course I have free parking for May/June when I am coming down July 6.

Any one up for 4-8 H.O.R.S.E. This weekend? 10 p.m. Start Friday/Saturday night?

Driving your car out of the parking lot in the summer is so overrated. I drove my car into the parking lot last summer, played 24/7 all summer and never drove my car out of the lot at the end of the summer!

If you must drive your car out of the parking lot, I can't think of any reason once in for the summer you'd leave, but, the surface parking lot is often open and unattended late late nights, if you must leave.

I believe you can use your borgata card for the free parking - i never take the pass with me - i just hand them my card

Need a little info on the 10/20 O8 game. What is the rake? Is there a jackpot drop? How is the quality of play? Is it a regular game year round?

10-20 08 game is great! So good there has recently been an increase from an average of one game going on at a time to two games going on at a time during peak hours! There are really good reasons (a) the game always goes, and (b) now there are more people playing...a 'must see' and play in game that has drawn from both the 5-10 and 15-30 game player pool at the Taj, the new group of players I imagine includes a lot of 'displaced' internet players...

Yes, if you have a black card ('evidence of a misspent youth') you park for free. 500 hours of 2-5 in a year or 666 hours of 1-2 in one year, another incentive. Hopefully you were over 21 years old when you put in these thousand hours of 1-2. A young man who just earned his black card asked me whether it was worth it to keep playing 50 hours/month or go to medical school, where he had been accepted. Please do continue your education if you have the chance, - these good games will always be here for you!

The most logical reason.

This is not a hard one to figure out. Stan does a great job getting players to play poker. Borgata dealers can see how good the games are and want to play in them. Stan has a history of successfully managing this kind of situation. As the powers of the CCC wane and the powers of the casinos increase we can expect to see more changes. The fact we have a very experienced management in the poker room does give me a certain amount of confidence. I can not see Stan saying 'no' to a reasonable request from a poker player to get in the action.And many of the Borgata dealers love playing poker and may not be so thrilled to pay parking fees at Caesar's or the Taj after they finish their shifts. I do not blame them!
