Next time I get slow rolled who do I go to if Stan isn't there? Worse then celebrating cause that isn't always personal.

As far as I know your just going to have too take it like a man.

I do not think there are any official rules against slow rolling... nothing against poor manners/sportsmanship either

Nah dude for celebrating I got a time out, I can kill someone by mistake if I hit them. You can't celebrate because it starts fights, right? A slow roll is way worse. I got slow rolled and the guy celebrated in a 5k+ pot after being card dead for hours managing to be up still until one hand puts me on tilt I add 500 have 1500 and this brown guys wins a 5k plus pot and slow rolls me then yells yeah blue label for everyone on me. I should have just mucked the other guy had me but the other day I was like the guy was just a douche forget it but now if I can't celebrate if I get slow rolled there should be an ejection for the day. The same guy tried to cheat someone the hand before by adding a thousand to his stack. Then my last trip I was playing 20-40 and this Korean guy slow rolled me when I flopped top to and he had top set. Gross. I didn't really care until I was on almost out of the room then got pissed was about to turn around then went to the cage.

I agree that the facts were probably presented differently to the floorperson, by the way the shift manager has the final say, not Stan...

If I had been at the table, in the hand or not, I would have escalated the situation up the line to Stan if he had been there. If the details that you explained are accurate, that's a bad outcome, obviously.

Yea, believe 500 min 2000 max?

10-20 is capped as well, 10-25 is when it's uncapped.

Need a ruling at Borgata? Always go to a Shift Manager. Never trust the dealers and only 10-15% of the Floor people (who are often dealers themselves). And even with a Shift you're not guaranteed a perfect ruling every time. I always ask the dealer if a player is all in and make sure everyone knows it before I make an all in call. Players need to protect themselves from bad rulings. Unfortunately not all players know this.

Just curious if anyone is familiar with the 30k guaranteed on Fridays. Average players and how long does it run until?

Is anyone here able to compare 2/5 NL at the Borgata with the games at the Commerce Casino in CA? I'm going to go to Commerce tomorrow and I'm trying to decide between the 2/5 ($200 min/max buy-in) and the 5/10 ($400 min/mak buy-in) games. Obviously the structure is odd to us East Coasters, but I've come to terms with that. I'm easily rolled for the 5/10, since the buy-in is so low, but I'm trying to find out how it compares to the 2/5 at Borgata, so I can figure out which is more my skill level. I'm very comfortable in the 2/5 games at Borgata.

Thanks in advance.

Just play both and see for yourself. Usually they are soft but it depends on who's there. The last time I played at the b they were bad 2-5 but I will skip that next time and go to 5-10. Never played in la but my boy that plays 1-2 plays 2-5 and 5-10 there so I would pay 5-10 and move if you don't like the table

There were several minor things and some really ugly situation which broke the game i was waiting for all day. I was pretty upset, but I guess there's no justice in poker.
As we came to the poker room we saw that there was 3-5PLO list of interest on the board but noone could give us an explanation what was the difference between 2-5PLO and 3-5PLO. One floor said that there's no capped buy-ins in both games because they were LIMIT games. Later on the 1-2PLO tables finally started. The floor called, the dealer and both players explained what had happened then the floor said it's not a call and walked away. There was a lot of yelling and screaming so half of the table got up disgusted with the floor's decision and the game broke. Another player, RP and I walked over to talk to the floor, and I mentioned the forward motion and 2stacks of reds across the line. The floor responded that it was players( the ones not in the hand ) responsibility to tell the story even if nobody asked them. For RP it wasn't about the money it was principle thing but I guess I will never see him playing at the Borgata.

Hi Stan,

Is there a way online for a player to track the amount of hours they have credited towards either the Bonus Comps or the Freeroll Tournements.

If not how can I find out ? Sorry if this has already been asked.

Thanks, Alan

Go to the Borgata website, (2) sign into your account (3) if you only play poker its pretty easy, 2-4 limit hold 'em is one dollar an hour comps, so if you have two comps you've played two hours...this is why you have to remember to clock-out...and yes, the promotions this month are great for poker players, thanks, Stan!

Sure, you still need to give a CC and what not but they'll ask you if you want to use your comp dollars towards your bill at the end and you can certainly do it.

You still may need to pay for taxes though I'm not sure on that.

I would call before you get there and let them know you want to have the whole bill picked up by the comps, when you check in I would remind them that you want to use your comps for everything and they will still put a hold on your cc and then I would check-out in person and let them know you want the comps to pick up everything, and yes Virginia, you can use your comps for the $5 room tax too! .

can i ask what you play to get so much comp? I am just switching to the borgata from the Taj and i find their comp system is much harder to gain points in playing videopoker & 2-5 PLO.
