Pretty sure no draw games are legal - I have never seen or even heard of any being spread anyway.

Then if the small blind folds the $1, when the pot is counted post-flop, it has $1 less than it theoretically should because of the bump from $1 to $2. Is that really the house rule to count the SB as $2 pre-flop? I know I'm talking about a dollar, but it's just a pet peeve of mine. (I know that the $2/$5 counts the SB as $5 and I'm fine with that because it plays so big). Maybe I've just played online too much, but I'm just used to counting dollar-for-dollar regardless and my opinion is that that should be the standard. Do you think that the people playing $25/$50 PLO are rounding the $25 to $50? (I sure hope not, but maybe they are?)
That's been the standard for the past year at $1/$2. (And I think you're right about the not rounding up at the HL room stakes. Anyone confirm for 5/10; 10/25 for curiosity sake?) I think you'll also *like the seemingly conflicting standard of how a posted SB (miss blinds and come back after the button) is "dead." and does not count for the pre-flop pot calculation. But then the $1 magically appears post-flop. It seems weird to go both ways, but as long as the rules play out the same every time, it's fine.

I don't know how either got started; but I just keep presenting them as hard-fast Borgata rules (and will until officially corrected about dead SB) if there's ever a question and we move on.

re: some other random comment somewhere about pot calculation being easier w/ $5 BI. I agree it's easier for the noobs nad it's is a bit easier not adding up $x8s but between 2 regulars and the sometimes competent dealer, they'll do the pot calculations two or three times while you try to add up $35+$35+$35+105. It ended up not being a noticeable time-saver unless everyone is mathematically disadvantaged.

Oh yeah, see you all tnite.

I'M curious to see how Long the sturday deepstack runs. When I FT'd the Friday garuntee it wasn't untill 1230 that we finished. The deepstack could run all night/morning if it gets a big enough turnout

My wild speculation is that there's going to be a HORSE event. We know that Stan's been saying that Razz is close to coming, and if he's not able to announce the twist, it probably means he's waiting on some approvals. Bountys would probably have a similar approval issue, but I don't know if any other rooms in NJ have bounty tournaments.

Kill game rules questions (for the Borgata):

In Omaha 8 with a kill triggered at $150: Say Player A is all in, and scoops the $150 main pot, but players B and C chop the $10 side pot. Does Player A have to post the kill? I saw a situation where player A didn't have to post.

What happens if a player refuses to post a kill blind? Can the player just leave the game and come back in an hour?

Bountys are already approved in AC, as there are casinos that already run Bounty tournaments

While playing in the game earlier this year, I heard two floors rule on this situation as a hypothetical asked by a couple of regs. The floors said that if the player leaves the game, he/she is not obligated to post the kill blind. Everyone, floors included, agreed that doing so would be bad etiquette, but the rule is that if you are leaving the game you do not have to post the kill blind.

For what it's worth, RRoP:

5. A person who leaves the table with a “leg up” toward a kill still has a “leg up” upon returning to the game.

6. A player who is required to post a kill must do so that same hand even if wishing to quit or be dealt out. A player who fails to post a required kill blind will not be allowed to participate in any game until the kill money is posted.

Didn't know that. Never seen it come up. If I was leaving the game, I would always play one or two more if I just scooped.

Only 2 names are on the list, I think next weekend I am going to try a 1/2 NLHE/PLO game. I think this will be a big hit, switching back and forth every half hour.
