Granted its been about 6 weeks since my last Borgata visit (vegas for wsop) but it was Evians then. Venetian is all about the Fiji waters.

That's cool.

I've been away for a while. When I was there, they served Fiji in the high limit room.

As far as I'm concerned, water is water. Anyone who believes otherwise is "naive" ("evian" backwards).

For NL anything over 5/10.

For Limit (i think... dont play limit, would rather watch paint dry) 20/40 and above.

And all of the bigger mixed limit games (75/150 and above)

I will ask this question again if Stan doesn't see it, but I don't get something about the cash giveaway that is run from Sunday - Thursday. I was just there last night and looked at the board that shows which envelopes have been picked and what their amounts were. There weren't too many blank spaces left, yet the promotion runs until August 26. By my calculations, there are 125 drawings still left (5 per day, 5 days per week, 5 weeks), but there is definitely not 125 open spaces left on that board. What happens when that board is filled? Will another one appear, or does that promotion just stop? I have to admit, I only ran down to play last night because of the drawing (and the fact that I had off from work on Friday) and might consider going on Sunday for the same reason.

Either way, if anybody has the answer, that would be great. Thanks.
A new board will appear. And yes, i am on vacation. See you all in a week.

Stan

So, if anyone wants to try out 1/1 NL tomorrow, sign up for the waiting list. I'll probably sign up when I get there. Maybe it'll get going this week.

10/20 is also played in the High Limit Room.

I will possibly be down there tomorrow, depending on when I get my furniture. I will help start the 1/1 game but will likely leave once there's a list since I need to play serious poker now that I can only go on weekends(haven't been there since Friday )

There's a signup list for it. Presumably if enough people sign up they'll call it. If Stan wasn't on vacation we could ask them to try to push it today.

We should use the power of 2+2ers to get it going.

Edit: I'm willing to come up and play till I have work tonight or go busto if there's interest

Does a 1/1 NL game run regularly? or is this a brand new 2+2 idea?

Jeff
I think they put the 10/20 in high limit area whenever there is room there, but as you say it is usually not there on the weekends because there is enough demand for bigger games to fill the room. Sometimes even the 20/40 game is not in the high limit room; I played in the 20/40 must move game in the regular room a few months ago, although I think the main game was in the high limit area.
