Depends on the game you want to play. All the lower stakes games are going and you will mostly always see one game of the higer stakes.

I would like to request 6-max games for LHE. The 15-30 and 30-60 to start if possible. Not sure if many lower stakes players would want to play 6-max but if they do then make the stakes lower too. Thanks.

I'm in the process of changing jobs and have some time off the next 2 weeks before starting the new one. I'm thinking about coming up from DC on Tues or Wed and spending a couple days at the Borgata poker room. Do any of the 10/20/40 games run during the week? Or should I expect to mostly play 5/10 until later in the week? Never been up there on a non-fri/sat/sun before!

This is common already around 4AM...

I played 5/10 NL for many hours yesterday, and contrary to my expectations, the temp dealers who dealt our game were very good.

This is frustrating. I play almost solely LHE ring games, and being just third on the list, even with a must move game, may mean either a 15 minute wait or a 90+ minute wait. As we all know, people seem to never leave LHE games. Moreover, there is no place to sit and wait to hear your name called in the high-limit area. Hate to say it, but the Taj will lock up the seat for you and call your room.

Is there a spot on the floor open for you (to sit on)?

With a full and busy floor, I'm not sure that you want people to be called at their rooms, slowing down the process of seating players.

This happened to me last time I was there on a weekend because they were calling 20+ people at a time from the list, including names that weren't shown on the board because the list only goes up to 20, and with the room being so loud it was hard to hear. Good luck

this, seriously. I think it's a colossally bad idea to agree to call a player in their room and wait ~10 minutes for them to get ready and walk across the entire casino floor to get there.

I am not referring to the 20+ 1/2 NLHE games that are spread on a daily basis. I am referring to mid- and high- stakes LHE games, where the player turnover in the games is severely lower and the number of games is lower as well.

Borg needs to implement a 3rd man walking rule like at foxwoods (at least last time I was there). It keeps the games full while keeping the morons who walk around for an hour, play one hand, then walk around in their seat. Definitely at the 10/20 limit and up level, but no reason not to have it at the lower levels. People might not leave their games much, but they also love to walk around and effectively leave their game.

While waiting for a game this weekend, I saw a 20/40 LHE game with seats 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 all have missed Big Blind buttons at the same time. Also, I saw multiple people in the 40/80 LHE game have more than 2 buttons. The players were instructing the dealers to not alert the floor in hopes that the fish would return from the ATM machine.

I thought the high limit room did implement a third man walking rule.
If this is the rule, it is certainly withing your prerogative to ask that they enforce it, even if other players in the game disagree.

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure this is only for Stud games. Now I do disagree with asking the floor not to pick up players that have 2 absent buttons in front of them if there is a list. If there isn't a list, then I wouldn't care, except that it might discourage new players from trying to sit if they see a full table and half are not there.

Best is when enough chips to cover time magically appear in a busted players seat

You might be right....I never read the sign very closely, and have never seen anyone suggest that this rule be enforced.

This just reminded me that Saturday afternoon, this guy pulled off a successful rathole on my 1/2 NL table. He had about 6-7 hundred on the table and his girl came over and he wanted to give her ~200 off his stack. Dealer told him he couldn't so he racked up and left. He walked literally like 10 steps away, turned around and sat back down in the seat. The dealer said "there is a wait list". He got the floor and explained what happened and the ruling was that he had to sit with $300.

Dealer was middle aged asian woman and floor was 30's looking asian guy.

This sounds to me like a particularly bad ruling by the Borg. Not usually typical of them.

Yeah, I was just staring in disbelief. I couldnt believe what I saw but, it is only a 1/2 game so I laughed it off and shook my head. Don't want to portray a nitty image by making a stink. The kid was a donk but, more of a bleeder than someone prone to making huge donk moves for stacks.
