Thanks so much. I'm going to start researching right now!
Actually I have stayed at the QI a few times, it's over by the Trop on the far end of boardwalk. It's OK, and has a restaurant with a good breakfast. But I have stopped going to any of the boardwalk casinos, if you can get a good rate at Harrah's I would stay there and drive over to the Borgata, don't walk it! I have seen coyotes in the area, and it is further than it looks.

All things considered, I really would just stay at the Borgata, you will be much more comfortable and relaxed.

Coyotes, really? Agree that walk is godawful though.

Thanks, Justin. The Comfort is $345 per night! That is more expensive than Borgata at $200. But Harrah's is only $74. So I think my choice will be Harrah's.

I will have my car.

Not joking, a few years ago when the nugget was still the Marina as I was leaving there at about 1 a.m. and coming out of the parking garage, me and my friends looked at what we first thought was a stray dog got a better look as we got closer and we were then all shocked when we realized it was a coyote. A few years later I was driving out of Harrah's and again I saw one in the area between there and Borgata. But what do you think is living there?

Harrahs at $74 sounds best but if that doesnt work out, Look into Holiday Inn Express in Absecon on Rt 30 about 8-9 miles north of Borg. Well run, well maintained, pretty convenient, quiet, comfortable.

I was able to get some incredible rates. $96 for an Atrium Suite, $77 for a regular room (average for the total stay per night).

Thanks everyone for your help!

+1 for holiday inn, i stayed there one time after harrahs messed up my reservation, i had my reservation at harrahs but i never knew before that day if you dont get there before 3 AM they cancel your reservation with no refund, bagged playing late flight and got there around 3.30 to be told that no rooms, luckily was able to drive to holiday inn and got the room, it was decent and i believe about 60 dollars for the night.

On a related note, if you are playing late flight and staying at harrahs, check in before you go to borgata, lesson learned.

I purposely told Harrah's I wouldn't be there until about 10pm. Not sure this will help, believe it or not, on their website they say they can cancel if you don't check in by 8pm!!!

At any rate, since I'm not really planning on playing tourneys, I will go directly to Harrah's. Thanks so much for this reminder.

Harrahs is the best closest option. Tell the desk you would like a room near the pool elevators. I forget the room type but the older part of Harrahs is not too nice. Good Luck

Thanks again! I have booked an Atrium Suite. I'm not sure what tower that is in, but I will ask to be next to the pool elevators if it is in an older part of the hotel.

ive seen 80-160 OOE listed on their website during the weekends...

does this mean 4 card O8, 5 card O8, and Stud 8 or is this just a typo and it's just 4 card O8 and stud 8?

thanks.

Two rounds of O8 and then one round of Stud8, both 4 card. Hence OOE.

I am heading up first thing on Monday. Hope to see some of you there.

Anyone know what this offer is in my borgata rewards (if you have it)?

"M-life Vegas vacation book by November 30"

There doesn't seem to be anywhere on the site to read more about it/book. Wanted to see if anyone knew first if not I'll call Borg.

I received this offer via email a few days ago. It was simply a listing of "special rates" at M-life Vegas properties. $97 @ Aria, $121 @ Bellagio, $59 @ MGM Grand. And others as well. Plus they offered me Sapphire status in their rewards program. Sapphire is the lowest level (which coincides with my infrequent, low-roller Borgata visits). So if you have a black card at Borgata, I would guess that your offer is much better than mine. The reservation number in the email is 1-877-327-0160.

Thanks. I am a black card, but haven't gotten that e-mail yet. Maybe MGM is trying to phase me out lol.

Yeah, I get lucky sometimes, and hit big. Sometimes I head down to play a tournament and get sidetracked, go on a binge and play like 18 hrs straight. Then head to the poker room when they shut down the table.... LOL!

Does tab post itt? Anyone have an idea if they will run a deep stack series late October like last year? They ran a 2 week series last year with attractive buy one for smaller players like myself.

Trying to determine if I should play foxwoods poker series in early oct or
Borgata late October if they have a series (which I assume they will but l
Info out yet)
