My point is these markets hold greater appeal to the casual, newbie, fish or whatever they are called in DFS. Hence why Bet4the best have scrapped salary pricing and also offer this type of markets. For a new platform, they doing quiet well too.
It might be top heavy but they pay a lot of places, take mondos 10k gtd, 450 people are paid out of 1453, that is loads % wise! Not cashing in 20 in a row
where 31% of people cash would be pretty unlucky, but even if it does happen, it is comparable to accas where people lose 20 weeks in a row waiting for that one big bink.
And cash game wise I think you are completely wrong, thats like saying you'll be lucky to win at poker (maybe a few years ago when games were easier), yes the average person won't win at heads up fantasy, but if you're doing it a fair amount and researching then I'd argue you would win.

PlayOn rep did come in this forum to hear suggestions few months ago during the International break. For me the number one issue is having non-staring players and not being allowed to have tools to make changes. Playon have taken off the early kick-off game on Saturday, but still has issues like all the other sites.

Why call it daily fantasy game ? We might as well call it daily guess the manager/coaches thought process game. To the first UK DFS site that has a functional late swap tool, my money will go to them. Till then I play small stakes and risk nothing. This functionality is very long over due!
Disagree with this too, sorry. Playon changed it to 3pm+ for the weekly game this week, so you can see vast majority of teams. If you want to take players from Arsenal/Liverpool that aren't today then you have to take in the % that they won't play, or you can play it safe and just go for all 3pm players you know are playing.

It is hard to argue against late swaps to be honest. One can not say 'just pick up players from the 3pm kick off' as an argument.

Indeed my fav DFS games are the Eurooean nights for Champions League and Europa League. We all play the games that kick off simultaneously and can see team line-up's for all of them. So far these games with Euro qualifiers are the one's that have proved popular and they filled most of the contests.

There is a lot that can be said for seeing team line-up. We are not magicians or soothsayers. As an example Newcastle game at 5.30 most probable line-up's had Ayoze Perez or Mitriovic to play from the start. Contrary to what was expected they were on the subs bench. Late swap is needed for this or avoid having games with staggered kick off times.

As for the two fixtures that is offered on Sunday, the less said the better. That is the minimum games they need to run contests, how about adding a few Eurooean fixtures from Sunday with similar kick off time.

We agree to disagree of course. I am just trying to see it from vantage point of a new player to DFS, how to do you make the game fun for them and they can keep playing regularly. They call this in other places, customer engagement and retention.

So Mahrez at 13/2 for highest scoring player and 9/2 for bargain highest scoring player leads with 15 points. Ighalo is second with 13 points and will have made great each way bet at 12/1 for highest scoring player in the FPL game.

Watford and Ighalo surely staking a claim for breakout team of the year with Leicester. Nice to see this clubs with Bournemouth add a touch of positivity to the Premier League.

By the way as a heads up - Fanxt is not allowing play from UK from this weekend, they were more likely operating without a licence before. If anyone was playing there, you can and should withdraw your funds through Paypal. http://weeklyfantasy.fanxt.com/denied.php

Another DFS site which had a revamp is Fanto and they could with more players. They have a dedicated app as well which is a big plus. They offering variety of sports as well. Check them out - https://www.fanto.co.uk//

1st in the mondo 10K shootout so far, need to fade 11 from Ozil. I usually enter each team 2/3/4 times in large GPPs, today I was hard pressed by time and could enter them only once First wolrd problems.

Happy holidays everyone and best wishes for the New Year.

Look forward to see more polished DFS platform's to play with in the New Year too.

Let me share this excellent read and also a talk at Google by the author.

Professor Leonard Mlodinow visits Google's Mountain View, CA headquarters to discuss his book, "The Drunkard's Walk: How Randomness Rules Our Lives". This event took place on May 22, 2008, as part of the Authors@Google series. For more information about Prof. Mlodinow, please visit http://www.its.caltech.edu/~len/

Hi All,

I am a UK player wanting to try out DFS. Ive read most of this thread (skipping out pages here and there!). Is mondogoal the only option? Is there any further information on DK opening to UK players?

How safe is your money on these sites? From what I've read here, mondogoal only has 300-600 unique accounts and is offering an overlay most weeks. Clearly that isnt sustainable so is anyone worried about safety of funds?

Other than the sign up bonus' is there any option for rakeback other than becoming an affiliate?

Im really grateful for any answers received. Thanks.

Mg is safe. Easy to get money on and off.

Dk uk opening got delayed because of all the **** going on in the US.

No rake back for mg other than being an affiliate.

Hi Perfection,

Welcome to the DFS world. Have fun with it as the UK market still in freshers mode, there are few soft games around to win and build bankroll.

Mondogoal is the not the only option at all. They do offer though the biggest prizes and diverse leagues from UK, Europe and around the world.

You have Playon, SportDraftr, Oulala, Draft 11 with similar detailed scoring like Mondogoal. Decent free roll's to start with too. Playon offers other sports like basketball and cricket.

You have those with scoring closer to the FPL game and captain options like - Fantasybet, Fanteam, Premier Punt. Fanteam offers diverse leagues (11 European Leagues), ice hockey and poker.

You have those with a different take with no salary price but captain option like bet4best, no salary price and no captain like - Fanto. Fanto offers other sports like rugby and cricket.

Then other niche games like FanFeud, PickLive and playdribble.

Draftkings must surely depend on their legal situation in the US, unless that is fully resolved hard to see them go live in the UK where their product is categorized as gambling.

You can use this season games to try out the various games on offer and which one is to your liking. There will be more DFS platforms coming to the UK besides Draftkings and Fan Duel in 2016.

Will update you when they go live with their game offerings, most likely closer to the big summer tournament - Euro 2016 in France. Around six DFS sites are under construction or awaiting licences to be approved. So we could easily end up with over twenty platform's to play games in. Quantity vs quality is another question.

Just sign up bonus and being an affiliate, not many other option for rakeback.

Regarding money safety across these sites, always good to test it out using withdrawal to bank card or e-wallet like Skrill or Neteller. So far so good, most have processed it fine. Some ask for ID as required by know your customer rules and some do not.

One last things none of the UK DFS sites offer late swap. Fantasy bet and Fanteam do allow substitute players. With no late swap or subs, one is at the mercy of managers tinkering and rotation. You get a big fat 0 score for non-starting and non-playing player and hard to win the contest as a result. This is the biggest Achilles heel of DFS games and hope they will fix it soon enough.

I don't know anything about DFS affiliates beyond what's on mondogal's "affiliates" page. Are all the big volume regs affiliated? I'm starting to play decent volume and planning to increase it if all goes well, but I'm not affiliated, am I being wasteful?

Have a look at this site Jean. It deals with affiliates and rakeback issues in DFS. http://fantasydraftrakeback.net https://twitter.com/fantasydraft_rb

Mg affiliate program isn't even really fully functional yet. But then again I prob am not bringing in a ton of rake so I might not be a top priority affiliate.

Between not liking the scoring system, the pain it is to post h2h, and not having got any relevant money yet I basically stopped playing on mg. Dk is just a much better product even with some of my grievances with them. If you don't have access to dk though mondogoal is far and away the best option however.

You are best having a chat with Chris Mazzone on twitter, he is part of the head team at Mondo and helpful with requests for information.

It really depends this and I am not overly wowed by any of these sites. For example today I play La Liga contest starting in an hour. Even if DK was operational in the UK, it does not cover it.

So I switch my attention to Mondo, Draft 11, Fan Team and bet4best who offer La Liga games. What is far and away is the best depends on the day & contest offers.

Now to the site that will offer at the end of season the biggest prize pool for a Global League Championship then I will be wowed.

Till then let me go back to doing homework.
