Congrats. That Roma consolation goal cost me the win with a weird Barca defence team - ended up in 4th.

I think tonight was a losing night for me overall, but must say nights like this with the goals flying in are great fun. For UK users, BT Sport's goal show is excellent - it's like it's designed for fantasy players (there's probably something similar in the US, but we've never had a show like that in the UK before that shows all the goals as they go in).

I thought you were going to win it when the penalty was saved! Unlucky =(

Not sure it was deliberate - last night in particular there were just a lot of the typically really high-priced players who were very desirable picks.

Tonight to a slightly lesser extent with plenty of decent budget forwards, but defenders seemed quite pricey for all the teams somewhat likely to keep clean sheets.

Yeah it was still difficult tonight, just thought it was even harder last night.

I prefer it this way for sure - there's something weirdly unsatisfying about completing your team, being happy with it, and then seeing 10m in the bank as happens on certain Premier League days depending on which teams are playing.

You are right. A lot of the DFS sites that offer Champions League have very crap salary pricing. Takes ages to make a decent team let alone stay under budget.

It is fun finding inefficiencies in salary pricing. But for European games it's made into unecessary chore as the value is not there with the pricing.

Lot of mismatches in Group games so might be better for sports book betting than DFS.

Do people have a rule of thumb about having a player in a maximum percentage of their teams? Eg if you did 20 teams last night would you limit the teams you have Ronaldo in to 10/50%? Or less? Or no limit.

But for the price of CR7, you had Stindl 29,55pts and Griezmann 22 (52pts about)

I don't think the question was about the value of CR, but about risk management. My best guess is the maximum exposure you want to have on a player depends on the value he carries, the more value the closer to 100% you go.

Very few players in positions that are misclassified on Mondo. They do slip a bit in European games though. Stindl is more a second striker than midfielder.

So Stindl & Raffael were the value of yesterday's game with Griezmann.

If you are planning an assault on a large GPP, the answer for me is no.

If Ronaldo was 1 million, I would still not have him in 100% of my lineups.
