In other cardiotarding news...

Also on the weekend in my city they had a fun run with a 10km event and a 5km event with staggered starting times.

The dude that won the 10km event finished in 29:32. He then got a ride to the start of the 5km event and won that in 14:07 but due to some technicality he couldn't claim first prize (of nothing afaik) in both.

Hrm perhaps they were doing the spartan sprint? There wasn't a single obese person that I saw...there were some girls with some extra weight but I don't think they finished.

Not sure what's more lolworthy: cardio or cardio technicalities. In any case, pretty impressive stuff there. Was this guy a pro at some point or purely a recreational runner. Those times (esp the 5K after the 10K) seem really fast.

They're all the ones that do bootcamp type stuff and their bootcamp instructors put in a team and they all go and haul each other over/under/through/crush the obstacles as far as I can tell.

Yeah, he's a Commonwealth games level runner and training for Rio.

Oh okay. But it's a super hard course for anyone overweight. The obstacles themselves were somewhat hard, but the hardest part was the 4-5 miles going uphill.

Missing some variant of "it was me" spoiler.

This post was much more interesting when I thought it asked if your religion had anything to do with it. Did not finish reading.

That sucks

Something related to limbo dance, perhaps?

Saw a girl yesterday with an "Anything But Cardio" shirt.

She was fat tho.

Probably a powerlifter.

Did you get her # / Did you try to get her #?

Waited for the "it was me" spoiler and was pretty disappointed

Severe lack of "it was me" ITT lately.

I really liked s1 of The Americans - I should get back into that.

You lasted approximately 3 years and 51 weeks longer than I would have.

RE: cable.

I ran into a stonewall when I tried to negotiate a better rate once my "promotional" period ended and my tv + internet doubled from $70 to $140. I snap called their bluff (?) and cancelled.

Past couple weeks I've been getting promo flyers in the mail.

**** them.

But seriously I'll probably re-up using the new promo bait they keep sending when I come back from France.

If you're actually going to France, do us real 'Mericans a favor and don't come back.

BTM is apparently quite resourceful:

How efficient is the "right-swipe everyone" strategy for dudes on Tinder? Apparently, it's only limited by the manual dexterity and endurance of the swiper. And now one evil genius has removed even that barrier by building a mechanical finger that automatically says yes to every woman on the dating site.

Andrew Sink's Tinder-o-Matic, built around a 3-D printed finger, is capable of doling out 900 profile likes in an hour.

Well, that should cover all the Tinder users in Norway in 30 mins. Excellent.

Excuse me? I rightswipe about 1 in 20 girls on tinder.
09-08-2014 , 11:41 AM
What is tinder and should I be using it?

Yes. We all know that your seed is highly sought after but some of us need to use the volume approach to Tinder.

Sorry bro.

In related news, I have to go to Indiana soon. ACTUAL close-to-LOhioL Indiana. Tips/advice? So far I have a copy of the New Yorker to bat away the philistines and I made sure my car windows were up and the doors were pre-locked. Just trying to be safe.

Those cats lose indoors privileges. They'll make fine barn cats.
