Yep. Vanguard is the nuts and everyone else in the industry has AIDS (for the most part)

Some good advice in there as well. Best thing I tell everyone is to just open retirement accts, put as much as you possibly can into them and invest them in a single balanced fund and never look at it. You'll probably end up retiring 15 years sooner. nbd.

High five top lels.

My point is that spatial direction isn't the intention. But rather to just be an outward pointing arrow (instead of an arrow pointing at the word "there"). Like "go away." Not "go right here," which doesn't make much sense to me.
I get what you're saying, I just think you're the only person in the history of 2p2 whose intention wasn't to generally point towards the navigation bar. Could be wrong, doesn't matter I guess.

ETA: if you were gonna say like "reddit is that way" and used ---> that's obv fine, but my understanding is you get to 2p2 threads/subs that way <-----.

I completely agree with you, KC. Which I'm not sure how I feel about.

I plan to continue watching even though it's OK and not epic or anything. I think I just like the idea of watching it even more than actually watching it.

Also, mad props to your advice to post my squat vids on SS forum. Two coaches immediately were like "wtf your squat is complete trash stop immediately and fix it." Also, get a coach.

So, looks like I'll be FSing and talking to my chiro at length about it. Probably should try to find an actual coach. Or squat at Cha's.

I wrote literally one joke once. It was horrible.

Watched E1. Frau DT laughed more than I did. Seems like it has potential, but too many or maybe not enough dick jokes. Idk.

I thought the first episode of Bojack Horseman was bad but it grew on me

I use betterment but need to look into Vanguard. Betterment is just so damn simple and the cost difference isn't too much from what I gather.

DT - you mean Aidan? Yeah, just let me run to da choppa and make my way over to middle Earth.

Everything works. Some things work better than others. None of them work forever.

why not both?

My guideline to everyone is always save $X every year, and be content with spending the rest. Hopefully X increases over the years.

Whatever X is, these are the tiers to follow:

First max out 401k up to match
then max out Roth IRA
then keep adding to 401k up to the legal max (17500 atm)
then open an investment acct and add the remainder of X to that.

How far you get along those tiers depends on how big X is, of course. Things change when you have kids and such but for the most part that's a great starting place.

Man I found a post in the coaches forum titled "squat with hip shooting and preventing valgus" and I was like "lol ygos is such a nerd" but it turned out to be someone else.

What I'm saying is I found you a friend.

What about those of us who can't do a 401k or a roth ira?
09-04-2014 , 11:57 AM
check your Roth IRA privilege
09-04-2014 , 12:00 PM
First max out shiny objects
then max out SEP IRA
then keep adding to GAMBLIN ROLL
then wait for cards close to each other 79TQ rainbow? Good enough. Wait for a J and then put all the money in.
???
profit
