Theres a road up the mountain where that picture was taken, so thats a minor downside, but the house isn't reachable from the road, you can barely see the house from it unless you get out and look, and its not a place you want to pull over, plus I could probably make this sentence longer if I tried.

I own 1 rack, 2 bars and 400kg of bumper plates.(lol)

Just accepted an offer from mapmyfitness.com, which is now owned by Under Armor. I'll be drowning in UA swag in no time imo.

Yeah, I think it's reasonably good. Definitely S1>S2, but its watchable if just for the lead actor's performance.

PM me. I can get discounts on anything in their online store. I was surprised to find that they make stuff like soccer balls, shoes, etc. I guess they're coming after Nike.

Has anyone mentioned Thursday Night Football yet?

Oddly, I don't follow the nfl closely at all. Don't have a favorite team don't give two ****s about Sunday or Monday night.

Haven't bothered turning on the game tonight, don't care who wins. At least I know who is playing.

This sounds like a way for small mexican men to scam you out of your wallet.

Which one is the lead actor? Kanye West?

How did the process go for buying bank owned property? My boss is a pretty big proponent of going that route for finding sick deals but it's a daunting pool to jump into.

Very interesting stuffs:

If it's legit, would be awesome. Will be revisiting my steak cooking skills within the next couple of weeks I hope...

I tried that a few weeks back, I think it has some merit but there are a couple downsides:

1. I buy steaks and eat them that day, usually for the next meal. I don't keep an inventory in the freezer. I also like to presalt so the meat is seasoned throughout instead of just on the surface. I'm not sure if this would mess with the freezing process.
2. It's hard to get the steak completely dry before freezing. Just leaving it in the freezer seems to leave a lot of moisture on the side that is face down.
3. If I sear then finish in a low oven, the steak is still frozen on the inside after the sear, so I can't get my probe thermometer in, set the alarm to 123 degrees internal temperature and walk away.

Also if I'm eating a thick steak then I may actually prefer a little bit of grey band for texture, but I'm probably in the minority here.

Season, sear, oven, sear seems to yield the best results for me.

Super sick. Although that is a lot of work! My wife and I did the exact opposite and bought a house requiring exactly zero real work.

I would think you could just throw money at it from your elite job hopping skills. Maybe just buy a few houses in Colorado, they gotta be cheap compared to where you live now. Then just become a slum...err landlord to meth heads while living in naturalistic luxury.

Interesting. Great points. (Minus the last one ldo )

You know, I never purported to be elite at job hopping. I just recommended it for KC because he solicited advice from the forum and it has worked out well for me and he seemed to be in a good situation for it. So you've kind of taken that and run with it in jest which is fine, but being a dick about it as if I arrogantly spew unwanted advice isn't.

As far as being a slumlord, I'd prefer not to go full-blown slum, but if the cap rate justifies renting to meth heads and I'm using a management company to insulate and protect myself then I really don't care who the tenants are.
