If you're not watching Utopia, you should be imo.

What's that? I prefer your explanation over Google's.

British conspiracy thriller with neat cinematography, short seasons (two six episode seasons so far), interesting premise, somewhat quirky. Decently violent, some dark comedy.

Were you actually paying for it in the first place? I haven't paid for it in about a decade. Every year I just threaten cancel all of my service, and they just throw it in with a couple of other discounts. I know lots of others who do the same.

KC LOLs at poors who think twice about "paying" for something

Weird, I've done it for a decade with no problems. Every year the strategy is a little different. I just look up what others have successfully done (lots of info out there) and I do some variation of that.

I'm still under contract for over a year (from hardware upgrade), so I thought if it was gonna fail, this would be the year. But, it still worked.

Would change to Directv from aidshouse, but my house is registered with the historical society and I can't put a dish in it. Giving brighthouse money pisses me off so much.

Have NFL season pass. I don't even know what they charge me, probably too much, but whatever. Sometimes I gotta sweat a bet on a Jacksonville or Tennessee game an gotta do what I gotta do.
09-07-2014 , 09:47 PM
i wonder if my region has anything to do with it. im in socal, so directv must get nothing but complaints about the dodger channel (i dont really care about that) and the pac 12 channel (its been 3 years now and im still hopping mad we dont have this). having to hand out so much to keep customers has to add up.
09-07-2014 , 09:52 PM
Yeah. No dodgers sucks big time. But I hate time warner from previous bad interactions, so not gonna crack (yet). Hand a big bet on Denver -8 to try to get less stuck for the weekend. I know luck is gonna F me with a last second back door cover.

Not sure if anyone knows him here but he's a regular poster in POG.

So the wifeacore and I have come to a pretty painful decision; we're going to have to give up two of our cats for adoption (the girls). They just haven't adjusted to having the boys around and having been peeing everywhere marking their territory (especially in the boys playroom). We've had to rip out all the carpet, pull up all the rugs, remove all the bathmats, and it's still happening; we got the three of them when they were six weeks old, but we're going to have to hand them off to a foster family There pretty much hasn't been anything we haven't tried, but it just hasn't worked

we've done that too (not him specifically, but someone) and there are some suggestions that we just can't do

like we can remove the soft foam tiles in the boys playroom, because the boys would chip up the hardwood

and we can't put litterboxes where they like to pee in the boys playroom, because it's their playroom

we have four floors and there are litterboxes on three of them, and a total of 6 for 3 of them

we have spent ~5k to remodel the house to remove carpet from the basement and attic and spent ~4k for surgery on one of the girls when we needed it

this wasn't something we decided likely; there is just some competition going on between the two of them, and they haven't been happy since the boys arrived

We're pretty sad about it, but a steady 4 year diet of cat urine is all we could take
09-07-2014 , 11:03 PM
We have small cats and dogs. We re at the point where a house has to be 100% hard wood floors or it is a deal breaker. Sucks cause I wish the bedrooms at least had carpet, but it is what it is.

Seems like the cheaper play was to get rid of the kids
09-07-2014 , 11:06 PM
QB,

It will be nice to have rugs and a bathmat again. The boy is actually pretty good, and plays with the boys very gently. The girls calm down as soon as the boys go down, but it's not really a viable way for them to live.

We left them at a shelter but they both found their way home. We couldn't even deny that we're their parents because their microchips have our address too
09-07-2014 , 11:19 PM
we actually threatened to cancel, and we got a free genie upgrade and what we thought was a cheap sunday ticket renewal, but then we double checked and the sunday ticket price was more than we expected. So we said **** it and canceled. Football mostly sucks anyway. Flagball.
