DT,

Unfortunately, you are probably going to die, unless you make it clear to the locals how much you hate Obama and love corn, Jesus, and white people (probably in roughly that order). They probably won't be happy if they see that your Jesus has a dot on his forehead and a preference for community board poker games that deal four hole cards, either, so keep your worshiping close to the vest, imo.

We have no barn.

The wifeacore thinks she found a crazy cat lady at work to take them; we shall see. Lady currently has two cats, so it would make four total, and it sounds like they are really loving cat people. Husband could veto, though. One time PLOKJ, one time.

Hello fellow Indianan-ans! I also love regular Jesus!

I can't seem to think what could possibly go wrong.

I used to have a cat. Loved that little guy. This was back when I was a teenager. My dad had remarried. My stepmom didn't like cats. So my dad did the sensible and loving thing. He waited until we were gone, packed the cat into the car, drove it far away into an unfamiliar neighborhood, then dumped it on the side of the road. CSB.

Explains so much.

Sounds better than the time a feral cat gave birth to a litter in our woodpile. The loving thing in that case was a gunny sack full of kittens and rocks dumped into a lake.

Wat

Thought you were gonna say set fire to the woodpile.

Sorry fakeb; hopefully the minis are young enough that this won't do lasting psychological damage. They're starting to like petting the male cat, and he likes interacting with them from time to time and doesn't pee all over their ****, so we're going to keep him around.
09-08-2014 , 04:22 PM
I don't want to say that I've never forgiven him or whatever, but that was ****ed up and unfortunately incredibly standard for him at the time.

Monte, I think the minis will be fine even if they're attached to the cats. My dad deserves no forgiveness because of the callous way he disposed of the cat. The minis, if they're old enough to remember any of it, can at least still respect you for trying to do well by the cats.

Are you ****ing kidding? Drowning is one of the most torturous ways to die. Be a man and look them in the eye and shoot them if you want them killed.

Cat murder ITT. I don't love cats but I can't say I'm fan of killing them. Sound to me like Monte is doing it the right way. Probably toughed it out way longer than he should have. Hopefully they can go to a good home.

crashjr is a utilitarian - he killed those kittens to save the lives of hundreds upon hundreds of local wildlife creatures.

Wood takes a lot of money/effort to obtain. Sacks and rocks are cheap by comparison.

I agree with this.

I was five or six years old. I did nothing more than find the cats, fill the bags and go along for the ride. I wasn't strong enough to lift the sack over the bridge railing. Hence my presence here.

I hate cats and I'm horribly allergic to them but this page is still really difficult to read.

Monte,
bummer

Faith in crash restored with the last post.

For the most part we are products of out environment, and Crash considers Redding "the big city," so this tells us all you really need to know. In other words "it is ok, it is not your fault".

Also, in the lab newborn mice are routinely killed with carbon dioxide poisoning and this is considered humane. I really don't know if drowning a newborn cat is particularly painful, considering their physiology at birth.

Man this fakeb kitten story has me riled up. When I was 7 I had this little gray one that slept outside in the storage room. My dad didn't like cats and didn't want them inside. So every time my dad went to work at 6am, tonchichica would come in and cuddle with me before I took off to school. There was lots of love between me and my kitten. My dad knew this was happening and I remember him getting mad about it

Well one day tonchichica is facking dead outside, super stiff. My dad said he must have used too much flea spray. I naively believed him.

But after fakeb's story, suspiciouscat is suspicious. Brutal.
09-08-2014 , 07:56 PM
That's brutal man. Is your pop still among us? I will could him up and say, "Hey, remember tonchichica?" After he says yes (or you remind him of the story), then you tell him, "I know what you did." Then never speak to him again.
