thanks, this is a fair take.. while rereading i couldnt help but cringe at how adamant i was.

hindsight makes the day much clearer, and biggerboat, dmk and a bunch of other villagers made a lot of sense going back. my takeaway for future games was that i need to not be so strict in wanting to handle things in a certain way and letting that cloud my judgement on people

i tried to talk to him some last night and i thought he had some villagery things mixed in but with some time to sleep on it / think on it, his narrative of 'trusting his late game skills and being weird in order to get there' has some big holes.

if those are his late game skills...then wut? he really only talks about how his "reads" were mostly right and how YKW is tunneling him. he makes some "conversation" with you, but he never actually does anything. he asks questions, makes a pretty standard list that every single player has already made except without any actual reasoning, and leaves

It's been 30 hours and 25 minutes since riverfish last posted. This is, by far, the longest this thread has ever gone without a riverfish post.

i honestly think the wolves are just frozen atm and don't know what to do

if there's an overall consensus that 4 people need to be voted out and they're all wolves, they'll each feel obligated to list them as well and (possibly) need to come up w/ some weird reasons on why they switched on their reads, etc. or, you just don't post and talk about something else? or just say "yeah, obv these are wolves" and move on?

oh, i was 100% sure he was a wolf midway through d3, but i didn't want to press him on that too hard because i thought he'd be more likely to interact w/ others and all. but yeah, there's no doubt in my mind him/crossnerd are the next 2 lynches.

has anyone found a single positive contribution from atakdog? aside from pushing crossnerd when it completely didn't matter at the time?

i really tried to pay attention to atakdog's posts during my reread

he showed some villagery thought process near eod1 but thats easy to do in small bursts and he still avoided the hell out of the v/v wagons.. seems like it was an awkward situation for him to navigate given that he wasn't around much all day. the was repeated eod2 as well.

im sure he's rooting for an xnerd lynch this weekend so he can come in tomorrow and be like i was right ive been pushing her all game im clear

crossnerd being a wolf means absolutely nothing wrt atak

please, once the clear villager conclave is dead, remember that if atakdog suddenly decides to be the "village leader" in our absence...

I STRONGLY URGE THE VILLAGE TO LYNCH RIVER -> CROSSNERD -> ATAKDOG THE NEXT 3 DAYS

order doesn't really matter, but i feel like we've got a fairly good consensus on the 1st 2 and i don't think i'm going to be able to make a good enough case on atak to lynch him over river/cross today

that said, if my thoughts are worth anything, i hope atak is the next to go after that

OK, here's a thought - do we think that all of these are playing quietly as wolves? I find it hard to believe that where the village are seemingly very close to implosion that they'd have all of them keeping shut rather than trying to sew seeds of doubt amongst everyone. I'm not sure what this means in terms of river, if things continue as is, either they're happy with it as we're all wrong on river, or he's not a power role (e.g. at this stage if the wolves have a roleblocker what use is it anyway) that they're happy to off and just try to keep more useful powers alive that might clinch things
