I don't speak for 2p2 obviously, so I don't know their motivation for their rules.

But this rule makes sense to me...what if someone was seriously innocent of doing anything wrong and they were getting harrassed for some reason, seems reasonable that 2p2 would work to remove personal info from the site. I'm guessing 2p2 wants nothing to do with being the judge of who deserves to be outed and who doesn't, therefore they accommodate any requests for removal.

Pretty sure in the Steve Ware case, he had 2p2 remove pictures/stuff of his from 2p2, even tho Steve had made stuff available (or it was available on the internet). Admo then setup a website with personal information about Steve and his theft, and then that is obviously outside 2p2's control.

A- timing of transfers and typicality (or lack thereof) in relation to past transfers
B- possible transfers to other people who played with Gary that we may not know about (e.g. rongrong?)

The transfers could easily be a major nail in the coffin. Or alternatively they could make him look slightly less suspicious.

This is basically right. innocent or not, a request to have pictures removed will be accommodated, 2p2 does not need any reason for a lawsuit to be on their hands.

I hope everyone realizes that Gary (and roseeker and the rest) will NEVER admit guilt. They will prob just deny it to their grave, given stars will not make the findings of their investigation public. Gary will just come back here in a few days sayin "aw man.. this is so unfair u guize... I iz banded"

say someone running for SNE is banned pending investigation for something or other for say a week, do they get anything if they are proven completely innocent as i could imagine it could **** up their pace pretty badly

I would think they would manually give you pro-rated VPP (but not FPP) that you would have earned had you continued to earn at your calendar-day average during the period of suspension in the unlikely event that you are exonerated in an investigation that takes a significant period of time to conduct. Or possibly a courtesy bonus released over time as VPPs are earned. This is just a WAG, however.

I'm thinking Gary could authorize pokerstars to copy jalex on all emails that pokerstars sends to gary, and could also authorize pokerstars to send directly the transfer history to jalex. Pokerstars might not want to do it as it could set a precedent that could significantly add to their future workload.
