Keep your VIP status

If a player is an existing VIP at another site, then he can just email a proof to vip@palladiumlounge.com and earn 1,000 points within a 15 days period. We will manually upgrade them to Palladium.

Cliffs:
Poker is not gambling.
I cannot comment because I do not know the specifics.
More information should be released this week.

did you get that info from one of your personal finance tv shows?

$5000 at 6% interest is bargain. plus its the only loan you can get if you dont have any income. plus you have ten years to pay it off. even working minimum wage for the rest of your life you will have no trouble making payments. plus if you dont continue college you will have 9montths before you have to start making payments. student loans are only a bad idea if you get $100k of them for a liberal arts degree. they are a bit of a scam but when you lost your job it is an easy and smart way to survive.

lol that's hilarious and heart-wrenching at the same time...

Some guy started a thread yesterday asking if they were still allowed to go on play money tables at least. I actually nearly cried when I saw that.

PPA John Pappas did a great job representing us poker players. The Bloomberg interviewer kept attacking from a money laundering perspective but John did well in his replies without over reaching(for instance he stated he was not a lawyer). John made the points that our money is in limbo right now, the sites would like to get our money back to us, and it is the government standing in the way of that. John also conveyed well that we do not believe online poker to be illegal gambling.

Well done Mr. Pappas

I'm sorry but I find it extremely unnerving and an overall horrible way to handle a significant situation by FTP.

72 ****ing hours and not a single email, I personally have paid several hundred k in rake in my life on this site. How in the world does that not justify them giving me a phone call or a personal email. Even if these shadeball's are planning on stealing my **** I would prefer a phone call or email in the meantime giving me some ****ing piece of mind.

hey, are you asking another site to upgrade your VIP status or you wont move their?

I'm nearly tier 3 on merge, which has taken 7 months to achieve, if I were to move to somewhere like iPoker, would they upgrade me?

pretty rude when he was talking about the bank bailouts, she said it was out of his "purview", overall he did a good job of getting the main points across but that was pretty insulting of her.

Just want to say that I'm really sorry for you players from USA, hope it ends somewhat good for you, poker is your national game imo, and those idiots fight with it like it was some kind of desease, while others gambling are freely available where skill is less important in it like betting sports in bookmakers for exampe, this is sh*t! At least hope they let you get your money back!

As in government sanctioned lottery. Where they rip off the public in the name of doing good.

It's taken me these last few days to really realize just how ****ed up this situation is for all these online US players [and the other players] with frozen funds.

** I just thought about something.. can't you go online (living here in the US) and bet on some site who's gonna win the next Survivor n **** like that? Isn't there SOMETHING that's worse than poker that's legal online?

Nah, those were mails they sent out to their affiliates. They want to sign up (former) Stars/FTP VIP players vulture-style (Euro only obv). Every Euro site does this at the moment. Purple Poker actually offered to BUY the VIP points you have on Stars/FTP (LOL)

http://www.billrini.com/2011/04/18/vultures-circling/

They have hated Stars/FTP for a long, long time and now it´s payback time:

LoL, well he started the interview by saying he wasn't a lawyer or anything, pretty much just a guy representing players?

FT & PS operated just fine without the need for Government regulation. From what I can see regulation just gives some the right to steal from others.
