I have an update for you already:

Since I have EU citizenship as well, i'm pretty sure I can go wherever the **** I want.

Also, for those who only have US citizenship, there's something called crossing the border and coming back which works wonders.

There are plenty of places to go to. I have friends who are about to move to Thailand and get a house there.
Same deal, some expats have been living in Thailand without papers for more than 40 years. All they do is cross the border and come back every couple of months or so.

If you can't afford to travel and settle in another country to play, you weren't really making a living in the first place and this is probably a good wake up call for you.

The people I feel really bad for are the ones supporting a family through their play, and these are the people that this piece of **** government has ****ed over the most.

Young winning players are going to be perfectly fine.

Online poker is not what FBI is after here. It is the fraud transactions. Wait and see legit poker sites to start popping up soon.
The reason poker sites might have had to use shady money transactions is because legit transactions are "voluntarily" blocked (like Visa transactions). Obviously from pressure from government officials and casinos. Money laundering laws were made to go after people who were making money illegally and were trying to hide their income. Has anyone even figured out if online poker is even illegal in the US, except in WA state?

How many others are getting this security freeze when trying to cash out?
I assume the money is in the accounts but the government has seized control over them. It'll be interesting to see if someone gets any money on Monday.

Honestly I wouldn't start playing on any other site that allows US players. I doubt any bank will cash a check/deposit and I'm guessing the feds are building a case against all those other sites as well.

So what's the lowdown for international countries?
I've heard many different things including some sources saying they're safe and others saying there going to blacked out soon.
Is there a definite word on the international situation, what exactly is going to happen there?

What is the smartest way to respond to this situation for someone like me with $16k on my stars account? Should I try to cash it out or leave it there and wait?

The characterization of the fictional location, where "all the women are strong, all the men are good looking, and all the children are above average," has been used to describe a real and pervasive human tendency to overestimate one’s achievements and capabilities in relation to others.

I'm actually not that worried about it. Once the Government figures out a way to get a bit of the rake, it'll open back up again.

Hi, Im sure this question has been asked already, but Im too lazy to read through all of these posts; if Ive cashed out not yesterday, but three weeks previous to yesterday, and am waiting for checks in the mail, will the bank bounce them after I cash them? If so, what will happen, will I just have 3k in worthless checks, or will my money go back online? If it does go back online, how long until we can cash out our money? Thanks
