There is a group of like 25-30 people who still don't want to play real poker so they have those tables for them. 5/10 is a 1k-5k and it is a different sign up area. See the brush right by the entrance of the high limit area, that's where you sign up

Does anyone have a number that they can put to this? I am curious how much more likely it is to hit the bbj on a limit game than a NL game.

I've maybe played the 2/5 at THR 5 times, but I could have sworn the 2/5 was a 600 buy-in. Did they change it? (Haven't been in a while.)

Sorry about that, you are correct. I meant to put 600, not 500

I'm glad noone on here was at any of my tables last weekend when I drunk & tiredly (way more tired than drunk btw) dumped off like 600 on the 1/2 tables saturday morning from 3am-3pm. I started the weekend up 450 and then took some shots (liquor) and played EXTREMELY too late and dumped it all off and then some. Gross weekend, but it was my birthday, so I kinda expected it. Back to the real world sober grind this weekend...

Please refrain from rigtarding this thread. There was a dedicated rigtarding thread around here somewhere, but you can post that silliness in the low-content thread if you can't find it using the search function. Don't jam up a good thread with that kind of nonsense.

There is usually at least 1 running every day. Sometimes in the middle of the week late at night it might break. On the weekends they have 3+ of them, and 2+ 5/10/20 lately too.

And for the record, the 2/5 has been 600 max since July 1.

They had a list up yesterday, that said it was around 220 as of Feb 17th. I don't remember the exact number, but it was slightly over 200.

Just FYI, I asked if after you get your 50 hours, if you get a ticket or something, and they said no, you just show up on the tourney day with ID and players card. That should work, but I'd actually feel better if you got something in writing ahead of time, just in case.

Where do you live? LoL?

The area IMMEDIATELY surrounding the casino isnt awful, but it gets quick. 2 cops were killed nearby about 6 months ago. MLK and 50th street are nearby. Pretty much the closer you get to 50th street the worse it gets, everywere west of 50th is ghetto.

Walking home to Carrolwood? South Tampa? Brandon? No...

you may be required to be that age to rent a car (this goes for Americans too) but I have never heard of a driving age limit like this. You could take a cab.

Funny, there was a gentleman at my table last night from Palm Beach, in town for a soccer tournament that was telling me the exact same thing about the 30 BB tables. Man, I'd much rather play with those donks than the players who actually want to buy in full.

I'm like 8 hours away from getting the 50, but I wont be making it to the freeroll. Can we sell our seats?

Nope. You have to show up in person to get your ticket, and again in person (valid IP + players club card) to get your seat assignment morning of.

It's conceivable you could sell it after you get your seat assignment, but I would not want to be in a situation where you cash and then they dont see your name on the entry list... But if you cant be there, thats a moot point.
