Because apparently the rule is the comps earned each day are good for 1 year before they go away without use.
I had always been told that the comps are good forever, so because it wasn't clear for everyone they are putting the $'s back that disappeared and giving you 30 days to use it.
Can they tell you at the supervisor's station how many of your dollars are going to expire in a given month? I have no idea how much of my balance is old or new $. Since they don't give statements, seems they must have some way we can find out before they expire.

I doubt it but most likely anytime you get a comp it takes off the oldest comps.

I asked that question during my last trip. I was told that the comps lasted at least a year and maybe longer. They said that the comp system had been in place less than a year so no decision beyond 1 year had been made.

I have to admit that was only my second trip so I have no idea if I was being treated like a mushroom or being told the truth.

Yep. I was going to let anyone know here who cared that you don't get a voucher you get it as comp points and they will appear in your balance after midnight tonight. I saw a lot of you at the HR anyway, and Ron beat me to the punch. So just confirming his finding. As usual. Haha. Have fun, good luck out there all.

I don't make it to HR very often. Is there a way to check your comp balance online?

and not $2.40 one day then $3.60 the next day and so on?
Any old comps would expire on the last day of a given month?

Yes, you can use the comps in the gift shop. I am pretty sure that you don't have to specify when you ask for a comp where it will be used. They are all good for anywhere.
Its been awhile since I used a comp for gift shop so I would ask them to be sure if you need to specify gift shop.

You can use the comps at the gift shop. I did that last month. No problems at all.

Ron, you seem to the be the source of knowledge on this so I guess you're the guy to ask. Does the 25 go into your account immediately after 4 hours are earned or is their a lag? I'm thinking of playing Monday since I have off and if I get 25 + comps/hr, plus I have a 35 dollar dining credit, I think Monday's gotta be the day. Also, can it be for tourney play or only cash? Thanks, appreciate your help.

I did not play the 4 hours monday so I don't know 100%, but I heard at midnight on monday it goes into your account.

I am not sure about using comps for tourney buy ins.

edit:
Oh, you are asking if you can earn the comp with 4 hours tourney play?
I don't think so, I think that was just for last months promo.

new promo has killed the morning fish. I got there at 9:30 this morning and there were a total of 4 tables running. Of course it got busier in the afternoon, but still the fish want their ipods even if it costs them 10k to get one.

PLO has been going more often lately. I'm generally there Monday-Thursday from 10am-6pm. I start a 1/2 interest list as soon as I get there and would like to encourage you guys to do the same. The more names on the list, the more likely people are to sign up. The past two Thursdays we've got games going an they were good both times. If there are a few names on the list I'm sure I can get them to announce it once or twice over the PA to fill it out.

Anyhow, GL guys, see you around.

Heading down this week from VA for a buddy's wedding. I will be there on Thursday and possibly Friday. What limits / games are running Thursday afternoons and Friday all day? I am especially interested in NLHE and PLO.

Thanks!

Then the normal NL games are 1/2, 1/3, 2/5, 5/10, 10/20.

Morning folks. I'm over from the uk for the next 2 weeks for the bolts season openers and wondered what the structures were like for the mtts. Noticed there were 240s and 120's but hoped they weren't crapshoots. What would u locals reccomend?
