Didn't get my 20 hrs, I'm planning on getting it next week unless I decide to go to Daytona instead. I'll probably stop going to THR after the jackpot hits.

Not sure why you think you missed me by a few minutes at the meet-up, since I never went to it. If I remember correctly it was at the center bar, and I wouldn't have been allowed in. But I do remember on June 30th and 2+2 was mentioned (while on a 1/2 table waiting for the laws to change) and some elderly gentleman (lurker) was excitedly telling me how he got to meet 'Paris Ron'.

But yeah, we did meet once. I posted my table/seat # and you came up and said hello. I remember you were wearing a pokerstars sweater

There will be some big games going next year, assuming the WPT will switch to Tampa for 2012. If not then I don't see anything really changing.

Remind me again what their logic was behind building a high limit room, and then not putting high limit games in there?

Edit: Oh, and I played with the guy who won the WSOP seniors event today. Real nice guy. He said he's 61 years older than me

They can't put what they don't have. While 5/10nl and 5/10/20nl are the biggest games in the room and in most of Florida, they really arent true high stakes games by normal poker room standards.
Maybe they built it to be ready for the WPT next year.

If they put the 5/10 nl games in there then what would they do in the event they get a high stakes game together and all 4 tables are full with 5/10nl and 5/10/20?

I was in the room at the time. Apparently she was down to her last $5 and got it in with AA vs KK. The pot had like $12 in it and it came running aces or kings, not sure which.
