Ya, I think it was some time after 4. It took an additional 20 minutes after we agreed to chop to get the money. Ok, I'm going to do 30 minutes of PLO online, a monkey tranquilizer, and then I'm off to the land of 5 dollar (including tip) 8 ounce red bulls known as the hard rock.

I left an hour ago and didnt really look at who the other players were. there was a huge crowd gathered around for about 10 min. until they made everyone go back to their seats lol.

Yea I asked one of the dealers about his play and he said he plays above average but due to his BR he will gamble more than most. lol
When you dont have to worry about 10k swings life is good.

he tanked on me when i shoved like $100ish into a $100ish pot one time, i was laughing to myself since it means nothing to him, but i really do think he wants to win and not just gamble gamble. though i havent played with him a ton...

In my experience (having played with Caddy quite a bit), it seems like it really just depends on the day. I've seen him play pretty tight, make thinking/big folds, etc., on some days, and on other days, he's there to gamble.

Did he call? Did you win? I'm guessing he folded.
$100... sounds like this happened before buy-ins increased in July

Just tried out the 2/5 tonight, and I must say, the table I was on is 10 times softer than the 1/3, and it seemed just as easy as the 1/2. Did I just get lucky? Or is that standard?

I don't think there is any "standard". It depends on the time of day and many other factors, including just luck of who ends up at a table. But it is probably true that in some situations one can make a lot more money at the 2/5 and above tables, because some of those people have lots of money and don't seem to mind losing it (or at least they can afford to lose it). Of course, if you have a bad run, or get a table without any weak players, you could lose a lot more money also.

Parison: To sign up for the Wednesday deep stack, can I just go there before it starts Wednesday, and give them my players card?

The Friday after you qualify They are set up in the "High limit section" to quickly give out vouchers to those who qualified. With that voucher you can sign up as early as the morning of the $240 deepstack you want to play.

If you dont get voucher on Friday then just talk to one of the tourney supervisors(assuming there is a tourney running) usually on the last row table 41-50, and they will get you the voucher.

I played there last night for the first time in six months. I played mostly 5-10NL. Some kid sat down at 5-10NL at 10:00p.m. with $500 and had $10,000 sitting in front of him by 4:00a.m. Kid was running like god. Kept getting pocket aces against other player's kings, flopped trup queens against someone's pockets kings, etc.

Too bad someone won the bad beat last week.

Bad beat is still there. Being "close" to hitting ht bad beat is a misconception. The hands that seem "close" to hitting it are just one of millions of the combinations of non bad beat winning hands.

Who is this guy Chris Oliver, chip leader at 2011 PCA? It says he is from holiday, FL.
Ive never seen him at HR. Maybe 5/10nl is too small for him.

The entire final table is on ESPN2 right now btw.
