I understand.

A few suggestions on making the website easier to navigate/less confusing:

Can you talk to whoever does the layout/updates of your website and maybe make the links and info a little more obvious? Right now it reads in a very small font and the text links aren't obvious links (see below). If I click on the rotating small banner next to the text, nothing happens - they look like rotating banner links like you see on a lot of sites.

Promotions
Progressive Rules
High Hands Feb 1 -28
Play and Earn Gas Card
Little Slick Feb 11-16

Thanks

Any news on how many players have run each day in the little slick. Also, the chip leaders on each day? I remember they had a link last time but I can't find it.

Was wondering if you make day two, can you still play in day1 flights to go for a bigger stack?
You can play as many as you want, keeping the largest of your stacks.

I can't post the link here, but you can find it from our website. Click on the poker blog.

Ended up chopping 10 handed at the final table. Me and 3 others took 10k, another guy took 9k, 4 people took 7,755 , and the shorty took 6k. Hell of a tourney, although there were some mishaps early on and some confusion. Luckily we got out of there at a decent hour!

Good job! Out of curiousity, how many blinds did you have when you decided to chop?

Blinds were 25/50k 5k ante and I was prolly around 1.9mil there were like 3 other stacks around the same and some others not too far off, not lopsided as one would think, if it was there wouldn't have been a chop so soon I'm sure. I was down to play more but 10k as a college student paying for everything looking to be rolled for 2/5 I jus took it in the moment lol.

The casino did it right in Tampa, but wrong in Vegas. You can read the "visiting from another country" section of the US Taxes Sticky for more information. You may be able to get a refund of the taxes withheld, if you are from a country that has a relevant tax treaty with the U.S. (see the sticky).

Nice going kid. Pretty soon you're not going to be able to use that "I'm just a starving college student" line anymore.

FYI I got zero satisfaction as each shift manager just throws their hands up and says something about "submitting a form" that never results in any kind of determination. If you really don't trust your shift managers to make simple time adjustments I don't know why you call them "managers". Why not just call them messengers?

Bottom line: I lost 4 hours time - in my case you can get away with lousy customer service because I like the room. But I would bet some other people would go elsewhere.

That would have the added benefit of being able to pay them less and lower the rake... ah, pardon me,.. make more profit for the room!

So is there nothing that can be done about the 3 slimeball colluders who play every single day in the 2/5 PLO? If only it weren't so overpriced to run a private game...It really does pain me to see uninformed fish getting crushed unaware they are being cheated.

Inform the fish; might hurt everybody (room and other players) a bit short term, but if revenue goes down, they (room) might be more active to do something against it. shortterm losses are better than long term losses IMO by allowing the colluders to play.

I figured eventually that day would come, it's been working for a couple years but looks like that run is coming to an end lol.

How much does it cost to run a private game now? A long time ago a dealer told me it was $150/ hour which seemed about the same as if they raked it. $5 rake per hand times 30 hands per hour. But I've never played, and probably never will play a private game ( unless a group decides to build one around me) , so I have nothing to compare that rate to. But it seems to me if you can get a private game at the same price as a regular game, that would be a good deal, no? Or do private games usually get charged less since they bring the people in themselves?
