My regular room is Borgata. I came up to Encore and logged about 60 hours of play.
The firat thing that surprised me is how comparatively empty the casino floor is, even during prime hours. Borgata is much busier.
I think i mentioned this already but the player pool is a lot of decent regs and some bad recs too. The skill disparity is bigger than most places Ive played.
The person saying the action might pick up when semesters start might be right?
All in all, the drive from NYC is not worth it to me as a 2/5 reg.

I learned about Encore about a year and a half ago, when regs at my Pennsylvania poker room were salivating at the prospect of juicy games. Reality is that poker boom is long behind us. In 2019, I would LOVE to join a 5/10 game that only has 5 or 6 grinders. There are so many people chasing good games that some think the best strt is to stay at local game as strong regs go chasing.
