How do the 2 BBJs work in terms of funding? Does half of all drops go to each or what?

There is 1 BBJ amount I believe. The 22-99 BBJ amount is 1/4 of the overall amount. Correct me if I am incorrect, Stan. Good to see everything is in order. I will be in later tonight. I could not come in yesterday since I overslept on my nap and at that point, did not want to drive 2 hours down to get there at 2 AM.

Basically we have a BBJP that is four tens or better beaten. The difference is that we will pay out 25% of the total BBJP if you lose with four 2's to four 9's.

I don't understand the purpose in this change. Is there any benefit to the players or is it just to keep the bad beat amount a larger number?

I heard there's gonna be some promotions for the Omaha Hi/Lo in December. Is that true? If so - what do you have in mind ?

Stan, question: When was the last time in your memory the pink chip game ($7.50/15 limit) made an appearance?

My best guess would be August of 09.

I am in for pink chip HOE or HOSE on Friday, that is, if I don't spend all day accumulating massive amounts of chips in the tourney and then take it down

It's basically an interest-free loan to the casino from the players so the bigger it is, the better. Yay!

Larger BBJ numbers attract more players, so it should benefit the players in the room in the first place. I usually don't play BBJ eligible games, but a fuller room is always nicer.

I doubt they make enough money off the interest of the BBJ to cover the expenses of running it, so it's only a promotional tool.

After I busted out around 11:15 PM last night, the game was down literally four live players. (There were six players, but two were unseated and left their chipstack on the table for a few hours.) Wasn't surprised it broke after Stan's midnight table report, especially when I played three-handed during my stay and it was endangered of breaking.

damn, lack of plo is disappointing. I really do not like 1-2 NL, it is really quite boring and unstimulating due to the loose passiveness of the game. Not to mention, I am not really great at NL cash anyway. I will be playing for hopefully many hours on friday and saturday this week, ideally in the 1-2 PLO game, but if that doesn't run I will go play 2-5.

How's the traffic to/from NYC/AC on Thanksgiving weekend? When's the best time to come down on Wednesday/Thursday and to return Sunday/Monday?

I'd probably be up to trying the pink chip game on BF for a few hours if it gets going.

You staying over? I'd go later on Wed eve like after 7pm. On Thursday the earler the better. Anything after 1pm can be tough.

I don't think going home on Sunday should be too bad unless it's between the usual 5-7pm. Monday should be a breeze AFTER 10am, before 10am, don't even try.
