Games always start at 11am, poker players, sleep in late, expect to see a lot more games by 1pm, - there may be few games in the early morning, they also tend to be the best of games!

This weekend seemed pretty slow overall. I assume a lot of people, Stan included, decided to take some time off after the tournament series.

This weekend was obviously not as crazy as it was during the series. That being said, action was still pretty good given that the summer is over. Also, some people suffer 'wallet fatigue', as Stan says, after such a series.

The link updates from 2 pm to 2 am every 3 hours. Those are obviously going to be the busiest times.

From what I understand, they only update the link 5 times per day. It is not a true "live update"

it really strange.. The update is a simple script which recreates the web page. They could run that every 5 minutes if they wanted to. Guess they dont want to

I think the morning crew deserves some positive pr as well as the action may be quite good, and I like it is less crowded. Stan is here busy at work. Looks like some renovations in the high-limit pit and hopefully some inspiration about october promotions for cash players!

40-80 Mixed game table 51. Personal memory; I remember playing 1-3 Stud at the Taj with one of the players about 15 years ago and now she's pushing around blue chips and the big boys. Nice!

I think some money is being invested in making the poker room more attractive to high limit players. If it was up to me I would use that money for promotions and comps for low-limit players, but the Borgata wants to compete for high limit players, I think these renovations may end up taking out a few tables, which would not be so badas I feel like a ball in a pinball machine when seated at the ends of tables 10,11, 3,4, etc.

And with this post, dipce is now the 2nd most prolific poster in this thread (after Stan), with 310 posts, passing DCJ001. Congratulations!

Would it be absolutely ridiculous to put some windows in the high limit section?

What for? We already get a beautiful view of the beach. Some days, if you listen closely, you can hear the seagulls.

Say goodbye to the sea gulls and say hello to four 60 inch plasma TVs. An additional (12) 60 inch and
(2) 70 inch plasma TVs to be installed in the high limit room in the next couple of weeks.

When are the tvs going to be lowered in the rest of the room? I thought it was supposed to be done in the summer?.....Also, when are we going to get more waiting list screens in the middle of the room?......Also, any bonus comp $ offer for october?.....Also, any freerolls for october planned? Borgata is the nuts for poker imo

Question 1. TVs were never planed to be lowered.

2. We can put them on the TVs that already exist.

They can't lower them without effecting the existing fire sprinkler system (they would act as an obstruction to the spray pattern).

I strongly support the idea of showing the waiting lists in the middle of the room.

Another great idea would be some poker kiosks where we can sign up for wait lists, check promos, comp dollars, hours played for promos, print out freeroll tickets...etc
