I haven't been to borgata in a couple of weeks but since all the new games have been added recently I was wondering about a few things. Are all the new games (2-7td, badugi, etc.) only available to play in the mixed games, or have there been any of these games by themselves? I would really like to play these games but I can't afford most of the stakes they are offered at in the mixed games. If there haven't been any individual games, could there be if an interest list was big enough?

The lowest limit is 40-80. I haven't even seen a wait list for anything lower. One thing I can say is if you know the games well, take $1600 and buy into it. Even though you'll be short, it's worth the shot. The game is that good

i and others have gotten a 5-10 HOSE game going in the past. it is possible, especially if you have a few people around that you know are interested. i am planning on coming down for the oct 8 $100k gtd and would love to get a 4-8 or 5-10 mix going the night before, or even just a draw-only rotation

what does the Q stand for in those game reports?

I've been told that the lowest limit that they will spread Triple Draw or Badugi is 7.5/15.

There have been lists for pink chip mixed games and Triple Draw games on a few days over the past week, but there hasn't been enough interest for a game to start.

during the poker open, pretty much every night...even 2 tables going.

other than that, mainly just weekends and random nights.

PLO games have been pretty action packed as of late. When I went in mid-July, the game had become 1-2 with a 5 bring-in and was playing pretty big(basically 2-5). This past Saturday was the first time I had played PLO at Borg in almost 2 months and the game was still 1-2-5, but action was still good, but not great due to the action-filled 2-5(lots of action as it was 1 table over) and 5-10 games. Have definitely noticed a lot more online poker refugee-types. O well, I made my easy money, now it's time to work for it haha.

What are the normal Bis for 7.5/15 Mix?

I understand if the 40-80 is a lot different that 7.5-15 or 10-20 in terms of $$ but in terms of skill level I don't think there's much difference.

Minimum would be $75, though I think that $150 would be the minimum to be somewhat comfortable, and $300 would be standard.

Pink chip mix very rarely goes off, so it is difficult to say what would be normal for this game. If anyone is familiar with the pink chip OE at Harrah's, I would assume the normal BI to be the same.

Stan, are there plans to spread Badugi/Triple Draw at lower limits in the near future? I think that a 4/8 or 5/10 game would be more likely to run.

Isn't the $10 ante a BIG difference??

Yeah it's a big difference but when you have players asking how to play QBT right before those games are dealt, you'll be crazy not to take a shot in the game. My advice is scratch up 1600 and take a shot

I'll donk around in any mixed game @5-10 and prolly @pink chip. PM me and we can exchange contact info. I'm coming back for a week starting this Friday, but I'm gonna get my LHE hours in for the weekend.
And when I say donk around, I mean I'll be one of the guys asking how the stud rounds work and wondering why I can't discard more cards thinking there's an one more draw coming.

I would love to play pink chip mixed game again; have enjoyed playing HORSE and wouldn't mind adding in triple draw or Badugi. The HORSE went several Saturdays in July so I think that is the day it would be most likely to go again; very unlikely to go weekdays so you might want to try for it this weekend, the LHE will go all week.
