1. The 20 and 40 are always very good to great on the weekends. I was not there this weekend (I usually am) so I cannot comment specifically, but I have a feeling the answer will be yes.
2. When the Taj gets the game going I'd say its better, but its not by a large margin and the Taj poker room is such a dump and only going further downhill. Combine that with how awesome the staff and comps are for the mid limit players at the Borgata and I don't think the Taj should even be an option.
3. Yes, the 20 goes almost around the clock. It may get short or break at like 4 am (and start back up at 10-11), but if you want to play 20 you can expect the game to be going at all times. During the day on weekdays the game can become a regfest with mostly quality players, but in my experience at night time even on weekdays the game is always worth playing even though it may not be as good as the weekend.

I was struck, too, that several of the reg's from the 20 game from the time I was a regular at the B. (back when the room was in the basement) were playing the 20 game at the Taj this past weekend. I got a head's up to play over there on Sunday night, and I assure you that it was a great game... Thus, my inquiry for a comparison of the games. I suspected even as I played on Sunday, however, that there was something unusual about the 20 game at the Taj this past weekend, and it was later confirmed for me that the game was built on two guest donks + me (though I was 3+ racks winner on the game--hehe--as only two of the people at the table remembered me from "back in the day," and each was nice enough not to rat me to the rest of the table
