Haha, that's funny man. I was just gonna ask that. I'm going to be out in Vegas this weekend. I believe Boyd gaming owns Borgata, and they do not own any of the large casinos out in Vegas so I guess I'm out of luck. I have heard they have called casinos in Vegas in order to ask for favors for players though...

If you have a host @ Borg, they can definitely set you up. Talk to them

haha yea, like I said, they are no associated with any particularly well-known casinos. I knew they have the same owners as some of the smaller ones.

And I definitely do not have a host at Borgata. I guess I would be aware that I could ask my host about LV if I was the type to gamble enough money to have one haha.

To the person wanting to know about Vegas, Boyds Orleans property is very nice with very large rooms it has a poker room that is busy and has tour. it is close to strip and the Palms and Rio. rooms can be be had for as little as 29.00. btw I heard from a pit boss that gaming com. in new jersey has made Boyd buy out mgm becuase of organized crime ties in macao.

No one really minds the $5 raise. Not even me - the guy infamous for objecting to everyone's desire for $5 bring-in. So feel free to keep it up. I only mind it because of some 3-bet-related issues.

And PLO is fun. Wish more people would overcome their fear of the game and give it a try.

I thought Borgata was 50/50 owned by Boyd and MGM but MGM had sold their 50% share to supposedly someone in China. I don't know if that has happened or if Boyd did buy the entire share.

This was announce in Mar. 2010 but has not been completed as of yet.

It could take from 12 to 18 months for the deal to complete if it ever does.

It's very subtle and the average recreational player would never know.

I don't really care as I'm a super nit and would almost welcome them trying to squeeze me.

I only posted to alert players to watch for this and please post if anyone suspects or sees this.
Yeah i think this is a good warning! i can't really say i have 100% seen this happen but as i was sitting at the table i felt as if this is what they were doing to me

What's wrong with squeezing? This happens more in the higher limits and it has nothing to do with collusion. Anyways, the regs usually stay out of each others way as it just makes financial sense. The funny thing is now the poker players I am the most friendly with I play the most/biggest pots with There are some players I have heard will use chip signals though.

Interesting there are more 2/5's than 1/2's going on... you rarely see that.

I've noticed the live game reports on the website have frequently been either inflated or just fabricated when I show up at Borg and compare.. Can't it just be automatically generated in real time like the Parx/Del Park reports are?

Quick Borgata non-poker related question -- so I've been dabbling in some table games at the Borgata lately, and noticed that on "My Offers" I have a few $25 match play coupons for March. Does anyone know how I actually get a hold of these when I next visit the Borgata? Do I just go see any pit boss at the table games and hand them my Borgata card? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
