$6 a half rake and unknown comps considering they didn't have it set up properly in the system.

It should be $4/hr in comps because it's fully double the stakes of the 10-20 O8 game that gets $2/hr -- but most likely $3/hr because of that "15."

Just because a game is double the stakes doesn't make it double the comps. From the casino's perspective, it should only merit double the comps if it generates double the rake or time charge. I think $6/hh time is the same as 5/10 NL, so I would guess it should get the same comp. Does any game at Borgata get $4/hour?

I would be shocked if some of the higher games don't get at least $4 an hour, just because of the much higher time charge, as you said.

According to the first post in here 5/10 NL gets $2/hr. I think $3/hr is the max for poker.

The last time I went to Borgata I didn't play any cash games at all. I played 2 tournaments and no slots or pit games either. According to their website I earned a few comp dollars on my last trip. (2 weeks ago).

Are they comping for tourney play now or have I maybe completely forgotten degening it up a little on my last trip?

I checked the FAQ and couldn't find it so I'll add it to the comps section when I get a definitive answer to the following:

Just so that I don't screw with my average daily play, how does Borgata define a gaming day and are there different hours for gaming days for poker and pit games?

Look back in October of this thread. I asked the same in reagrds to bonus comp dollars earned for a month based on per hours pmayed in a two week span. I was told (and found to be true) it's 6AM to 6AM like the entire casino

Staff advised me that, in regards to a poker room-based bonus comp dollars promotion (e.g., 40 bonus points for a minimum 50 hours played in a month), the promotion ends at midnight on the last day of that month.

That doesn't conflict with the 6am - 6am "casino time" used for average hours/day calc when determining room offers, so this is an FYI.

Thanks again for the responses. I updated the FAQ accordingly.

Do 10/20 O8 and 10/20 LHE go daily as of late? If so, what time(s) do they usually start up?

I know there is interest in RAZZ one of these days we will get it going, with a lot of STUD games coming to the Borgata, once the BBJ gets hit I know myself and one other 2/5 player wants to play RAZZ on Saturday so we could get the game going with a few other people interested.

More often than not

10/20 lhe goes pretty much same days and likely more often than that.

I'm never tgere on mon-wed but both games play next to each other and when I'm playing Omaha there's always a lhe game.

They usually start between 9-11 am I'd say.

Thinking of coming down Sunday to play in the O/E tournament
How many runners do they usually get for these 1 day special events?
About what time do they usually end?

I don't play it, but I do play a lot of mixed games and I kinda know by experience, that, if you build it, it will come. Games like that can go for months on end then all of a sudden they just die out or it changes to 2/5 or w/e. Unfortunately, it's not the type of game/limit that's going to be a guarantee when you get there---you're best bet is to start an interest list and do some hustling to get it going.
