Hey all,

Just a few quick questions about the ML limit hold 'em games. First, what is the comp rate for the 10/20 and 20/40 games? How often do these run? Finally, how does the competition compare between these two games and to the Taj?

Thanks

Not that I would play in it or have anywhere near the roll, but out of curiosity what does the 80-160 game play like?

Stan,

I saw some discussion on this awhile back but didn't see the result, are you guys doing to that swipe in/out at the table system, (like they have at foxwoods)....i think it would be great cause I ALWAYS forget to sign out after playing at least one session during a weekend trip (my fault I know) but it would be cool for scatterbrains like me!

Comp rates are $2 for the 10 and $3 for the 20, but they are doubled for December if you play at least 30 hours (get the extra comps in January).
They both run pretty much every day for all times except not always in the middle of the night/early am hours. Recently the Taj only has these games on the weekends.

I last read that Stan was doing nothing to changing the system. In the mean time, since the comp dollar changes November 1st and to truly reward the live players who physically stick around, the floor has been conducting random in/out comp card swipes. (I originally reported that they take people's cards every two hours, but they have these at random times in my later visits.) Hey....at least any comps you earned goes straight to your account if you happen to get through that time.

Can't wait for Friday morning, speaking of which!

Way to go AC Grinder, A Very Nice First Post!

May be you can come out and tell us who you really are and why you needed to create a new account to vent.

We all know Stan/Tab and CO., we really appreciate their efforts.

I guess enuff said.

Stan regularly helps out lower level chumps like me, makes the criticism seem silly.

I'm probably coming down Friday night for some PLO action. I also may get after some beers and play the Midnight tourney for fun. How many runners has that been getting?

Stan, I got this in my offers:

Offer Type: Name: Starts: Expires:
Comp Dollars $100 COMP DOLLARS 12/03/2010 12/31/2010

What does it mean? Is it related to the 30 hours promotion from November?

BTW, I know that to get the double comps from November added I need to swipe in at any slot machine after Dec. 6th, but is there any date when it expires? Can I do it in January?

Stan/Tab/Other Informed Parties I have seen the schedule for the "Winter Open" events and plan on making a portion of it. Will a satellite schedule be posted as well? I can't afford the Maine Event but wouldn't mind taking a shot at a satellite.
Thanks,
AW

Whee! I'll be in tomorrow morning starting at 6 AM to start an all-day 1-2 NLHE grind affair, in honor of my 30th birthday and a three day weekend from work. I'll be playing, and enjoying the Borgata Buffet at lunch break, until 5 PM. (Damn...I wish that complementary buffet offer was tomorrow! That would've been perfect.)

Such a long-shot, but I'll definitely play the deepstack if I suddenly win $1,600. LOL.

I like your plan except the playing 1/2NLHE at 6am part.

Enjoy!

Thanks, buddy! Yes, I had a fair amount of +EV winning against players, especially the sleepy or drunk fish who've been playing since the previous night, hence the early start time. Hope the roads aren't too bad then.

The Borgata Buffet is closed this week!

Actually most of the other restaurants are too!

Are you serious? On the Mini-Series?!?

Oh well...worst-case scenario...instead of the cafeteria, I'll go to White House Subs. Best local hoagies and subs in town.

The cafeteria fast food restaurants are open.

The buffet, noodle bar, Bread&Butter, and Wolfgang Puck's are all closed, possibly others too but not sure.

Oh well. At least the staff at those closed places are getting their rest before the onslaught of vacationers, clubbers and gamblers that will be coming before and after Christmas.

Heck...Tony Luke's ain't that bad anyway. I ' ve decided to take the train to avoid the drive. Thanks Chillrob.
