Whenever there is a live game with limits over 100 (i.e. 3 digits) like 100/200, or 80-120, the live table report breaks. I sent a PM but I'm not sure they are fixing it yet.

Thanks in advance.

Stan/Tab,

With Memorial Day and the Summer fast approaching, do you see the weekly Friday morning tournament being increased in size? Would love to see a 350+50, 60k Guarantee. If you do plan to increase the tournament, what would the timing be?

Thanks!

I know that the Spring Tourney Main Event is going on right now so not 100% sure what is going on in the reg room.

Wanted to know about the game report to and what it looks like for tommorow - not sure what the deal will be with the SNG and what not for the day since the tourney is going on.

Update would be nice!

It was a shame that HOSE could not last more than a few weeks, and that the PCG did not last much either. However, wasn't the failure of those games due to the fact that a large portion of the 1/2 and 2/5 NLHE base would never play an exclusively limit game or a mix, rather than an innate disinterest in a mix game? In contrast, that same player base, which includes the NLHE pool as well as the PLO pool, 99% of which also play NLHE, would likely be drawn into the NLHE/PLO mix.

For starters, 1/2 NLHE/PLO (and hopefully, eventually 5/10 LHE/O8) on Saturdays anyone? Once people realize that changing the game once in a while makes it much more interesting it just may stay for the long haul.

Not to often I believe. I do not believe I have ever heard the $250+$30 SNG called. Probably now would be the best time for it with the tournament series going on. The popular one tends to be the $100+$20, with the $60+$15 not to far behind.

I disagree. I've heard the 250 called far more often than the 60 and close to as often as the 100. When you factor in time spent on the list, time waiting for game to be called, time waiting for called players who never show up, time waiting for players to replace the guys who didn't show, time to count the money and check the decks--it's a massive waste of time, IMO.

Everyone here knows how high I am on Borgata's room, but after playing one of these about a year ago, I'd never do it again.

heading down the Borgata tmr night for the first time for some 1/2 (maybe 2/5) PLO action. 2 questions-

Can I get a myBorgata card from the poker room or do I need to go to the main customer service desk?

How's the 1/2 PLO action? What's the max buy-in? Does it run all night?

Probably getting there around 9pm and going to have a degen fest until Saturday morning...

You can get a card made in the poker room, at the front desk.

1/2 PLO will probably go on Friday night, but not definitely. Will almost certainly not last all night long.

2/5 PLO might go.

If the PLO games go, they're super soft

I was curious to see if room traffic was growing over the last few months, and I thought one way to do that would be to analyze the daily increase in the Bad Beat Jackpot.

I decided to look at 3 time periods, so I chose the data from each of the big tournament series at the Borgata in the last 8 months: The Borgata Poker Open (September), The Winter Open (January), and the Spring Open (April). I excluded the data from the day after any BBJ hits because obviously a $100,000 drop in a day will skew the results.

The results show that the daily BBJ increase jumped by about 50% from the Fall to the Winter, and stayed flat for the Spring Open. It seems safe to say that 2010 has been busier than last fall.

For the hell of it, I also threw in a chart showing how many times the BBJ has hit on each day of the week. Obviously Wednesday is a lucky day, and you should avoid playing on Sundays and Tuesdays!

The juice on $250 ST SNG is too high. Probably the reason they rarely run if they go at all. Do yourself a favor and take $280 to a 2/5 NL game. These games are very beatable especially on the weekends, and you can play two hours for $20.
