glad you brought that up. as the typical daily tourney lasts around five hours or six hours. obviously, over the course of the tourney tables break, and dealers get sent home. so the vast majority of dealers never even get to deal for the entire tournament. if i'm fortunate enough to cash i like to keep this in mind when signing for my winnings.

I've never had an issue with the thermostat. There might be a cool/heat switch you have to use.. but I think it was just 2 simple dials.. temp and low/high/off.

As for the poker room.. its def not warm.. but it keeps you awake. I've never player poker NOT wearing jeans, shirt+sweatshirt... and sometimes even a light jacket on top. I'm comfy with that on. People just need to dress warmly enough.. bring layers.

10/20 HOSE would interfere with the 10/20 LHE & O8 games.

If we're gonna try something different it should probably be a 10/20 stud 8-only game,
or a SE (stud/stud 8) 2-way. I'd definitely try and start a list for this on a Saturday afternoon.

That being said, I do think that 5/10, 6/12, or a pink chip E or SE game would probably be better to attract more players. Just my .02 ...

4-8, 5-10, pink are all reasonable options.

why dont more freakin holdem players, including NLHE players want to play games like HOSE, are you clowns (i'm referring to NLHE players in general not borgata thread posters ) sick of hold em yet, especially NLHE, i've been playing it for 7 years and I sure as hell am.....I understand why we can't do 10/20 HOSE yet, but I hope in a year or two this becomes a reality and more limits of game mixes like HOE, HOSE, HO and especially HA become the norm rather then the special exception

Cmon. They opened a 15-30 O8 game while i was sitting in the 10-20OE. surely 'interfering' isnt really a concern.
Plus, the 10-20OE going down was a lot of the players didnt like the stud part, well, guess what, we are coming there to play the stud part for sure. no chance we complain and try to get the stud part eliminated.
And, when the pink hold'em was running, there were plenty of 10-20 hold'em games going, and no thoughts of stopping the pink holdem due to interference.
And, an OE game couldnt possibly interfere with the O8 game. I mean, how could it? none of those guys wanted to play OE, right?

but, apparently, if stan isnt kidding, there will be no HO, OE, HE, HOSE, and the like in the pink and $10 range at the borgata in the near future. thats cool. as long as the 10-20O8 players are happy i guess.

BTW, obviously im guessing no 10 hose means no pink hose either. If Stan could clear that up, that would be great!

Guys, if you remember there were several recent attempts to spread the following games/limits ; $4/8 HOSE, PC LHE, PC HO, and PC stud 8. None of these managed to catch on at all.

I'm really surprised that there just isn't a player base (even on a Sat.) for lower limit mixed games @ Borgata. Maybe we can change this, maybe we can't.

I'd rather see a possible stud 8 or SE 2-way game start up 1st. Might have a better shot to survive. There's recently been a 4/8 LHE game on Saturdays, and Stan may start up a 5/10 O8 game. Things might be changing a little.

There weren't any of these running anyway.

First things first, they are going to get a game established that WILL run every day. The O8 half kill was going after midnight a couple days this weeek...ON A WEEKDAY.

I have no doubt that after the game is established, a 5-10 HOSE or whatever could randomly sprout up.

Give it time bro...Stan and the Borgata don't make a practice of saying no to their players. There's always a method to their madness. Be patient....

That being said...pink HO has to be offered for the 2+2 get together. I know ISTSAG (or whatever the letters are), sellingthedrama, myself and many others will fill it and keep it running all night.
