3. HOE or H only

4. HOSE, but I'm not sure I even want to play that

I can't get there early enough to help start a game at 1pm, but I will get there...

And, in all practicality... it would be game with the most potential to get off the ground and (most importantly) keep going

Let's do it - shuffle up and deal!

I believe it is raked.

Good news! I received a job offer from a company in central New Jersey. This coincides with my desire to be near home and a major casino area. I am still finishing up interviews, but if I accept this offer, you can likely expect me to be at Borgata very frequently after my expected graduation in early May until my job begins and on weekends once my job begins in July.

is the borgata card the same as harrahs for the total rewards, the tier points are gone after a year?

yes, all the "premium" player cards are only for 1 year, although the total rewards defines their year weirdly (ends on march no matter what of the following year)

It's raked, 5% up to $4max + $1 for the BBJ.

If no one wants to play any stud games, I'll start a list for a PC stud h/l game.

lets see where we stand with games there seems to be a seperate list going on a different forum to get some sort of mix game going with stud i think it might help if we can just pick from the 2 choices mixed with stud and mixed without to see where we stand to try to get something that makes sense. If we play a 3 game rotate it will be an 8 hand rotate not a dealer rotate

I'd prefer that LHE is at least part of the mix if i'm going to play the PCG since I am exceptionally bad at everything else. HO or HOE please ftw

Also, I think starting a seperate list for the stud games might hurt the chances of getting the game running a little bit, amirite?

While I like E, I'd prefer to to play HO or just H... I just don't have any confidence that there would be more than 5-6 that will stick with the HOE/HOSE rotation. And, I don't want to play in a game that will eventually break and/or be constantly short.

If you guys do get the HOE/HOSE off and running, great! I can always sit 10/20. But, if HO/H goes, I will help to keep that going. I won't play S, however. Even changing every 8 hands is too painful for me

If you funnel a million dollars through a table game, you'll get a Titanium card. That's not really the "rule" though.

I'm under the impression that, following the comp dollar system ($1,000 for a black card) $5,000-$10,000 and a helpful host should be enough to get you Titanium.

Somone told me at a poker room (Harrah's) down the street from the Borgata over the weekend, that if I needed a poker room rate, and Mabel was off, that coming here and PM'ing Stan was a great option. Apparently they didn't know about the 3 drink minimum on 2+2...lol.

I generally play 2-5 in Vegas. Will also dable in HORSE and any form of Omaha. From Richmond VA its frankly been cheaper to fly to Vegas the past 2years, than it is to drive my car to AC, although I have played plenty at the Borgata over this time frame.

Not sure how to contact Stan, between now and when I earn my fancy PM button. I sure prefer the hell out of the Borgata over Harrah's though! Played Borgata this past weekend on Thursday and Sunday, played Harrah's on Friday and Saturday. I always play where I stay and generally log 12-16 hour sessions.
Hey man, I frequent the Borgata often and live in Fredericksburg, Va. Stan's username is Ruler of the East. PM him - I think you need to have 5 posts min. to PM. What do you play?

I was playing craps the other day and a guy clocked in with a titanium card. I asked him about it and he said he needs to earn 20,000 comp dollars/yr to MAINTAIN it.

I am not trying to get 2 lists going just a sense of what people want to play. There are quite a few who want to play stud in the mix and a few who do not want to play H. In all fairness to the 10/20 OE players it is not right to just get a list for OE so that is not going to happen - just play the 10/20 until it breaks at dinner and then join us. I am trying to get a feel if we should play stud (and if we should play both the S and E). I think the 8 hand works much better because this way the walkers that we will be forced to endure are gone for a shorter time and on ocassion they may even start playing rather than walk.

I play 2-5 nl in AC. Almost exclusively at the Borgata. But if I can't get a room at a decent rate, I'll play elsewhere. Harrah's is comping my rooms during the week, and giving me a poker room rate on the weekends. Kind of suprising since I don't play any table games at all.

I play any form of Omaha, HORSE, 2-5 NL and 5-10 NL in Vegas. Interestingly, I won't play HOSE because when I am getting bad cards, I have found Razz will often be enough to keep me in the hunt.

I've played the 5-10 NL in AC several times, but I prefer playing one person at a time instead of two or three teams sitting at the same table.

I would be VERY curious about your route driving to the Borgata from Fredericksburg.
