I've decided to drive down to Borgata, but had to turn back about 40 miles in. Heavy rain and no daylight is just not a fun combination on GSP, and I didn't want to repeat the experience the other way at 2 am when I'm all tired. Ironically, on the way back, I almost crashed while driving through a deep puddle on the ramp.

nice to meet you today nocrying. I hope the PC HO game turned out well for you. The 1-2 PLO game has to be the juciest 'low limit' live game I have seen but at the same time the most gutwrenching. Anyone who has a clue about PLO is likely to profit a large amount in the long run as many if not all the people there are terrible.

i was looking at my offers and i think have sun-thurs poker rate and jan-feb parking pass or something like that. When/Where am I going to be able to pick up my pass? Shame I won't be able to use it much since I'm going back to school the 5th .

any chance you played around 11? I was in the 5 seat i believe, the asian kid. Any chance you were the 9 seat?

i played from around 1pm-630pm, in the 1 seat for most of the time before switching to the 5 seat for an hour or so

since you mentioned the 9 seat, during the time i was playing the 9 seat was a guy who bitched about about every hand he lost and hurled insults at the winner(s) of said hand... completely missing the point of the pink chip game, which was to have fun - he was wearing a "tool" shirt, heh

The point of pink chip games is for fun? I and some others surely know this, but tell that to the 50% of the players(older gentlemen) who don't say a word except to complain about every minute detail and attempt make the game generally miserable. Fortuntely when I was there I and seat 6(nocrying) were making plenty of conversation as was seat 8(Tina?) and seat 9, much to the chagrin of the older gentlemen, who claimed they were colluding and cheating everyone.

yea, i was accused of colluding by the older guys too - dunno if they caught onto the fact that i was capping pre-flop most of the hands i played regardless of who was in the hand

so to recap, we have people having fun, lots of raising, and heavy socializing in a poker game - and the old nits didn't like it? shocker.

Hey Stan... Almost there how about a game report?

Stan, maybe you can help me out a bit.

I lost a $9000 pot last night (KK vs. AA, it happens.) I went to my box to reload, and pulled out a $5k brick that had been bundled by the Borgata, complete with the cashier's signature etc.

I proceed to the cage, and they tell me that one of the bills is "suspect." Long story short, I'm whisked away to security where I spend the next 30 minutes. Security was polite, and I complied. . . they're just doing their job. They confiscate the $100 to send it off to the Secret Service and give me a receipt.

Here's my complaint: I would have zero issues with any of this, except that the Borgata cage are the ones who gave me the counterfeit $100 bill in the first place. As I mentioned before, I handed it to them wrapped in their own bundle, complete with cashier's signature on the band.

I would have zero problem if I'd brought the bundle in from an outside bank. . . but I feel bad that the Borgata gave me a counterfeit, and then snagged it when I tried to give it back.

Is there anything you can do to at least help me recoup some of that lost value? To be honest, I don't care about the $100. . .that's less than an opening raise at the stakes I play. . . but it's the principle.

The cage manager Wayne Burt will corroborate everything I've written here.
