If are willing to take 50% of Mav's action, I have this bridge that I've been meaning to sell. It's a little old and located just over the river from Brooklyn...

I hope he can make it. He's a fun guy to play cards with!

Make sure you get us all on the top of the list and don't call the game until I get there. My ETA is the same as yours.

I am also staying over Sat night... so we can keep the game running all night. I have to leave reasonably early on Sunday to get back home for a family lunch, though. We can grab some lunch at Amphora on Sat... of course they may drop the deck and wait for our dead money to return

Because there certainly aren't any live 2/5 players who limp/fold way too much or play absolutely abysmally after the flop. You can be +EV setmining at 2/5, but it's not necessarily optimal depending on the game conditions, and there are a lot of Borg 2/5 games where I play extremely LAG in position.

After this last trip, I would love to see the big blue queue screen on one of the channels in the hotel rooms. There are like five channels for Borgata promotions, but nothing for poker. It would be nice to chill in the room and check out the current games and wait-lists.

+1 and also I just want to shout out to the board here for the talk of 2/5. I recently graduated college and only play the 2/5 not anywhere else but the Borgata. lots of regulars there. love the saturday action where there are 12+ tables and if your at a tight table, its easy to ask for a table change as the staff at the Borgata are very accomodating. And of course, shout out to Stan for always hooking it up w/ the poker room rate!

is it safe driving down to atlantic city this weekend from harrisburg,pa, planning to stay in borgata, weather forecast isnt good on friday, do u guys think its safe to drive down this friday, any help is appreciated, this is my first winter down here

Time charge is way better than rake. Less money coming off the table = more money on the table for you to win, and fish survive longer. (I'm not referring to 1 night's play...I'm talking about months and years and the lasting power of the game)

I haven't done the math from Harrisburg, but you might actually save money on gas and tolls. The only problem with doing it this way is that your bound to the schedules and can't control exactly when you leave or arrive.
