Finally got around to starting Friday Night Lights last night. Good first 2 or 3 episodes, however many I got through. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

Get out while you still can...I got trapped into watching the first 4 seasons, so now I'm basically stuck watching another 30+ hours of mediocrity to finish what I started (and see what people claim is such an amazing final act). There were a few exchanges I had with somebody else earlier in the thread about the show's 2p2 overratedness.

absolutely! holy crap! i have to watch ep 9 and 10 before 11 tonight. This show is incredible! best on tv by far! i'm so impressed by every performance

Now halfway through season 1 of FNL, and I love it. Good character development, interesting but not unrealistic situations, both on and off the field. I also love the head coach guy, he looks so familiar but I can't place where from.

I guess this is similar to me asking about Heroes a couple weeks ago, but is True Blood worth watching if I hate vampire/sci-fi stuff?

Thanks for the others Jstunna, will give 30Rock and Justified a try (HIMYM and BBT are good too, but I've only seen some).

Loving Community, while the first handful of episodes were merely watchable, some of the episodes in the rest of the season were really really funny. It's not quite up there with Modern Family and Parks and Rec imo, but I'll be sad when I am done with the first series.

Avatar is cool, I'm only like 6 eps in, but it is very watchable and sometimes pretty funny for a kids show.

Also looking forward to Jersey Shore and Weeds this summer

I just started watching Breaking Bad so that should get me through a week or two. I'll be tuned into Top Chef, Entourage, and Hung.

For those with DirecTV, T101 will be showing The Wire this summer. I'll probably watch it again.

I normally can't stand sci-fi stuff at all. But True blood is a really good show imo.
