IIRC, the hooker took the poisioned burgers with her when the PI and Victor picked up Jesse.

Interesting piece of television trivia: The jacket worn by Bryan Cranston (seen above) throughout the Breaking Bad series is the same jacket worn by Jim Carrey in Dumb and Dumber (seen below).

Anybody else notice the foreshadowing earlier in the show when Walt was in Saul's office tipping the scales of justice?

The two dead thugs weren't related to Gus I'm assuming so he isn't upset on a personal level, but pissed that Jesse and Walt are messing up business. Killing Jesse I understand from Gus' point of view, but no one can cook like Walt and doing anything to him but yell over this is stupid in a business sense.

I really was looking forward to Gus' character development but I think it fell kind of short. There's no back story of his rise to kingpin and the only emotion we have seen is semi-yelling through a whisper. I wish they had cut down Walt's breakdown period so other things could be shown but I still love this season.

Anyone think Gus is going to die?

great episode. loved the scene about half measures where both walt and the other guy had half of their faces darkened, representing bad/good sides. at the ending my heart was pumping. thought jesse was getting smoked for sure but i was still hoping for a miracle.

I love so much that I can't figure out what is going to happen. Through some brainstorming, it's possible that I stumbled upon what does happen in the finale, but it wasn't something that jumped out at me live "Yep, that's it" so I've already moved passed it and forgotten about it.

There are so many scenarios that could happen, and each one of them are awesome. I don't even care anymore. I absolutely love the ride. Whatever happens, I'm fine with. I actually can't really think of a situation that would turn me off at all.

just read it when i read a linked article, the slot is 1.5h, but thats because they sneak preview the pilot of the aforementioned show

There's supposed to be limited commercial interruption so Breaking Bad will be 48 minutes instead of 40-42.

Hopefully Rubicon will be worth watching.

Gus is a phucking genius never forget it. This time he was foiled by a ******ed Walt. If I was Walt, Jessie would have been gone a long time ago, but hey im from NJ.
Except that Gus didn't sanction killing the kid as far as we know, so this doesn't make sense.

We also didnt know who alerted Hank to the shooting and the huge power-game behind that move?

We didn't know when it happened. Some/many might have guessed. But it was in the following episodes that we learned.

Seems likely Gus is behind this. Seems likely we'll someday know with certainty. Wouldn't be surprised if they try to convince us one way or the other then pull the rug out.

Super badass ending, that was definitely one of the best scenes of the series. It all goes back to the Fly episode, seemed like a throwaway at the time but they had to establish Walt's residual guilt for Jane's death. If Walt didn't have her death carrying over him no way he saves Jesse here.
