Paella Marinera i think.

Also, to the person who said that Gus told Walt that family came first but that there's no sign of a wife or kids, possibly suggesting he's a bachelor or divorced, there's kids toys visible in several scenes.

Also, i know this isn't Lost, but Gus' house number was 12 13. Any tie ins? This is episode 11 fwiw.

I think it is foreshadowing that Gus will be involved somehow in eps 12 and 13 of this season.

What I was thinking too. What else do you have to see if mine also lines up?

He said its his favorite dish but cant get the kids to eat it. I assume hes a family man but the family had plans and were gone and thats the reason he could have Walt over.

The DEA should be able to find a meth lab hidden in a laundromat. Didn't any of them ever watch Get Smart?

i quite like where theyre going why Skyelurs character and think it is pretty believable that she would use Hanks treatment as a valid excuse to get in on the action.

I honestly dont think Jesse will die this season. Im predicting it will be exactly like last season where we feel like were building up to something big in the finale but then its not what people expect and everyones gonna get pissed.

i predict a train collision in front of walts/skuylurs house in the finale

Also, right after Gus says "Don't make the same mistake twice" there's a hard cut to Jesse as his car pulls up at the spot where Combo died. When a show links together Gus's comment and Jesse with that cut, it's pretty difficult not to read that edit as meaning something.
This, plus the scene of Jesse looking like a fly with the respirator on his head make it very clear what mistake Gus was talking about.

Gus inviting Walt to his house was a sign of respect for Walt's calm, calculated reaction to figuring out Gus' role in hank's shooting. I think this was the beginning of them setting up Walt to become the logical successor to Gus at the end of season 4.

oh. that's what i get for semi-grunching. meh, i didn't find it that bad. a tad cliche, yes, but still makes sense in the plotline, given skyler's motivations.

+1 for really not feeling the stories progression for the last two episodes. dialouge is amazingly good but the 'macro' effects for the season as a whole isn't looking so great.

it feels like at this point it's a lot like prisonbreak after season two... i really hope it doesn't complete that venture. this is literally the only thing i watch on TV besides sports, i'm hangin' by a thread lol.

first part is so obvious i hope everyone understood that.
i reallllly liked your "cooking" take on that though. you should be a writer!

Walt is still a criminal. This is the first closer interaction between the two. I think Gus is just being cautious.

First part is one of the things he could have meant or meant. But certainly not the only thing! I hope you understood that.

fwiw i havent seen S04 officially confirmed yet. The renewals generally happen early in the season so im not sure why they are taking so long.

Walt and Jesse both die in the season finale thus ending the show.

I honestly think they shouldnt reveal that stuff until after the last episode. If HIMYM is renewed, this show certainly is (unless the producers/writers want it to end).

You do realize that HIMYM being renewed has virtually nothing to do with BB being renewed, right? Different channel, cable vs. broadcast (different business model), etc...

I know, lol. But HIMYM is such a terrible show atm, that BB needs to be renewed for TV's sake.
06-02-2010 , 07:00 AM
True. The show seems to be doing reasonably well (at least by the minimal standards of cable television) so I doubt its going anywhere.
06-02-2010 , 10:53 AM
Can't understand how anyone could think Gus doesn't have the lab bugged.
06-02-2010 , 01:00 PM
What's jesse's next move kill those guys take over that corner or try and help the kid get out of the gang?

I also got the gay vibe when hank went to gus house to eat
