ScarJo is really a terrible actress. And she's cute but not ultimate hotness so I have never really understood the obsession with wanting to see her nips. She was perfect in Under the Skin because it hit her strengths: never making a facial expression or delivering a line with emotion.

Her best movie by far was Ghost World because she played a disaffected teenager. In her roles directly after that they kept casting her as an adult which I never found remotely believable at the time (Match Point, Lost in Translation).

Honestly don't know why she gets roles.

The actress which really rustles me sometimes is Natalie Portman. She is so good in some roles and so bad and unbelievable in others. A lot if range.

Agree with ScarJo criticism.

When I'm watching a movie I want the actors to ACT - really dramatic; like a teenager who's just had her crush stolen by her best friend.

If you're acting even a little bit like people literally act irl then you're not really acting & I will not have it in my cinema.

I loved Lost in Translation but if I ever rewatch it I'll probably hate it due to olds. But let's face it... she's ****ing hot in that movie. And not sure why udbrky is complaining about her being cast as an adult in that movie. She was cast as a typical child-like young adult imo.

It's confusing because Scarlett Johansen isn't very hot.

Neither is Natalie Portman, imo.

To me they're way more on the "cute" end of the scale.

I have seen Her, her voice acting was above her usual level, so kudos for that. Did not think it was a particularly good movie. It was OK.
