I went and saw Lucy and frankly I think it's aggressively stupid. It makes me think that Besson has only heard of things like biology, computers, drugs, gangs, human interaction and doesn't actually know a single thing about any of them. He like read the caption on a picture in a book about them and just went with it.

I totally expected the premise to be stupid and have it be an excuse for a good time explodey shooting movie but it failed to even deliver that. It's basically exactly as good as, say, Elysium. I'd probably rather have watched Taxi 1-4 than seen this movie.
