So, a lot to mull over in that post by you, can't say in the 20minutes you have left (now less than 5?) how much of it I agree with. At a superficial glance there's some bits I felt weren't as red as you presented them.
Lol that xpost.

Which parts? I'm going to sleep so take your time.

I disagree that he has progressed. I'll review it more when I wake up about day 2.

Me neither, usually.

Real-life disclaimer: I'm preparing to move from my apartment, so while I will guaranteed-ly have proper time for the game in the evening/night, it might be only after 9PM my time, which is during the last six hours of the Phase.

Re: The 2015 Mafia Championship: Game 6

My defense to most of this is (and this shouldn't be a surprise), duh, it's day 1. I frankly think that, with this kind of game setup, any arguments about anyone from day 1 have less weight than future days. Notice my case on Banks didn't really focus heavily on day 1. Responses to a few points:

-Doc for have 3 scums
-Cue for scum reading road improperly
-MSU for the OMGUS vote

This is simply dorian placing an over justified vote on a townie thats not a real wagon so he can be clean when the flip comes. Not how there is 0 scum up for lynch at this point. Scum love to vote off wagon if possible day 1. Town care about consensus.
If I'm mafia and all I care about is placing a vote on a townie so that I can be clean when the flip comes, I put a second vote on Doc instead of making that kind of post and vote.

This specific post has long ago been brought up by others, and long answered, whether you believe the answer or not. It was my horrible, awkward, noob attempt at laying groundwork for Ratchet being my N0 fakepeek, which I hurriedly added to road's question as I knew it would likely be one of my last posts before I ran out the door.

Achromatic was a higher read early on, but the long stretch of silence and the sudden push on a lurker have made it a much lower, more cautious town-read.
i actually like this post because road asks him for 3 town reads and he gives like 5

like i get the impression that he felt "pressured" to give content when road asked him that question, normally i think if a scumbuddy asks you a question you just answer it as much as you need to and move on and not care?

Actually, I'll say that people I attacked handled a case well as town. The "I need to consciously pay more attention here," is scummy, but the other part definitely isn't.

Not what happened. He attacked doc for his proportion of scum/town reads. That's still a scummy thing though, Banks. Why not attack him for what he actually did?

Slendy I am very annoyed that you aren't holding Dorian's interactions (or LACK THERE OF) with Ratchet to nearly the same standard as you are Banks. For some god forsaken reason you are holding Banks to a GROSSLY higher standard of sliding scale.

ALSO, I am getting pretty sick of the narrative "we have to solve for the Bs" as if them beginning with a B makes them linked or more likely to be scum. It is absurd.

what happened was that dorian thought he and doc were similar players, so he thought it was weird that doc has a ton of scumreads but he himself had barely one

so he called doc out for that

seems like a weird angle to take as mafia

By the way I am probably the only one who thinks so, but notice how Dorian is trying to deweight day one which is the only day where we are likely to have 100% genuine scum interaction before a night chat/fear of ratchet maybe being exposed. Road got rode down mostly because of day one discussion but now 'oh no day one shouldn't count as much' it is very convenient for him to think so.

Oh. Thanks, I didn't get that from the way he phrased it. I suppose that's a fair point, but I'm not sure what he thinks would be the town thing to do. If I'd showed up and said "****, Smartbomb was town, man was I dumb town to have suspected him!" that's a super-scummy kind of thing to say.

While I was gone, Ratchet's almost-lynch came out of nowhere and cue was the pick for the kill, and both were big surprises to me. Thus my first response is to address those and see what kind of information can be learned from them so I can begin trying to solve the game.

Talking to myself I am aware: but I find this type of thought process to be scummy. This post to me reads like Dorian knows banks is town, and is this attributing him only being allowed sound logic. Also like road before him he has thought far too many points against him have been fair. He reminds me of a snake, casually slipping through arguments he has no true answer for with 'I guess' and a shrug while defending the points he can.

I see you, Dorian. And you aren't winning the game.

I say that because this setup is so completely different from what I'm used to. Mafia not being allowed to communicate during the day and getting to pick their nightkill after lynch deadline instead of before is so different to me.

If I'm mafia (spoiler - I'm not!), I 100% guarantee that I did not read my teammates' names before day 1 ended. I'd rather accidentally bus a teammate then have a whole extra day of trying to pretend I'm innocent. The people who went hard after Ratchet on day 1 have basically gotten a free ticket to the endgame.

I am certain that Banks would never play that way, but anyone else...I don't really know. The mere fact that it's possible in this setup makes me put less weight on day 1 stuff. You may think road went down for mostly day 1 stuff, but I think that most of my suspicion on him was from day 2 and 3 stuff.

Re: The 2015 Mafia Championship: Game 6

Here's a thought. Assuming Riki is town, the last scum has to get him (or one of Slendy, Achro and me, I suppose) lynched in order to win the game. The only way Riki could have been lynched was if he was lynched before Road. Guess who tested the waters with a Riki push and refused to lynch Road yesterDay?

1) I still don't believe the alleged Cop!Ratchet -read was anything other than a retrospective excuse, and it seems blatant to me. Not outed-scum-blatant, like road's D2-posting, but pretty darn close.
2) I don't have a hard time seeing Mafia!Ratchet and Town!dorian interact like this nor do I have a hard time seeing Mafia!Ratchet interact with Mafia!dorian like this.
The reason I'm after Banks isn't his interactions with Ratchet -- the point I want to make is simply that they don't make Banks look any greener, and by that opinion I stand.
You could say that I don't hold the two interactions to the same standard, and you'd be right in a way -- I haven't yet seen the detail that would EXCLUDE one of the possible worlds wrt Ratchet and dorian. Since dorian and Banks are different players (like day and night, you could even say), so too would Mafia!Ratchet be obliged to treat both of them differently if he were to roll Scum with them.
3) We both want to make this as close to a sweep as possible. We both want to Lynch the final Mafioso today, not tomorrow. I won't ignore your case as I reassess everything.

As it just so happens, road was infinitesimally more scummy than anyone yesterday, and Mafia!road also makes Riki, the other R, pretty damn likely green. Hence, resolving the Rs yesterday.

As it so happens, after road's not-too-surprising Mafia!flip, the next candidates for his partner (based on their actions and some details that make dorian seem like a less plausible alternative) both begin with a B. With dorian being the third, but atleast for the moment least likely possibility IMO.

Surely you cannot seriously assume it has anything to do with the starting letter.
