That assumes JY needed to go as far as he did. I argue that he didn't and in fact the thread was over and done with when he released his messages.

I'm pretty sure after looking at a handful of kilowatt's posts that JY was never going to use him as an in between.

I am not going to argue with you whether it was the right move or not it may well be but bottom line is that JY's case is so open and shut that he didn't have to be as transparent as all the pro MM supporters wanted him to be as it's all in the thread to date...for those that want to apply their minds to it that is.

threads cool but I can't get over this

-moneymaker goes into a ton of debt and loses all of the money him and his dad had raised on sports betting
-goes on miracle run wins ME pays off all his debts
-10 years later hes back on 2+2 involved in a a pretty serious matter revolving around sports betting

Any chance of closing this thread, so that all the no-life people who still want some drama can collectively move on?

I would prefer the thread stay open until I am paid.

With that said, things are clearly winding down so I agree everyone should stop pressing for more and more drama.

Having read through the MoneyMaker/JY thread, thought this was an interesting find on YouTube. Segment starts at 25:50 ish.

Not as interesting as you might think..

I found it surprising that he is admitting being a degenerate gambler
Should he really say that as an ambassador for stars
edit:stiffing bookies is also not nice lol
11-11-2013 , 09:03 AM
yes, it is interesting.

also included: Howard Lederer on cheating

MM and JY are both complete scumbags. Wouldn't trust them with monopoly money.

Seems interesting to me and very relevant for the MM/JY thread. Here is what he said, transcribed by me, for those who can't watch the video:

"He was obviously disappointed for a while but he's my dad and he forgave me. So I vowed to give (get?) the money back. Started betting with bookies when I didn't have no money online to bet. When I lost all my money online basically. I would find local bookies and lose to them. And stiff them. I ended up siffing like 4 bookies in my life i believe. I spent the rest of my natural life in college waking up at 10 o'clock, when I had 8 o'clock classes, to check the lines to see what the spreads were for that night and to do research for the rest of the day until 3 or 4 o'clock rolled around so I can bet on the games for that night. Then I would spend the whole night watching the games and rinse and repeat for the next day. You know it's terrible, on Tuesday morning you wake up and there's a phone ringing and you have to take it out the wall because it wont stop rining because the bookie is looking for his money. So basically I've been a degenerate gambler in every form of gambling you can do up until 2 years after college."

".... up until 2 years after college."

Sadly, no.

No, you don't seem to get it. You're making an argument with a strawman you've erected to amuse yourself apparently. It's pretty clear to almost everyone in the thread that these two were freerolling each other until something else comes out to suggest otherwise.

No I saw the youtube link in post #1758 but again, not sure how this is new information.

Whatever though. At least now we can get some updates on Assani's checks from Jason, lol.

Finally came to the right decision, (again.)

The vote right now;
2+2 computer nerds 62-13 that you should welch on your bets.

I wouldn't give any credit to any of those 62 people unless you plan on getting burned.

1st they lose, then they will make up BS excuses to not pay.
Beware of those 62 scammers.

Right, absolutely no validity to the thought that a bet with someone who you discover would not have paid you had you won, was not a valid bet. Nope. Anyone who holds such a viewpoint is a scammer.

Congrats on winning worst post of the thread with your late entry.

Honestly, I'm kind of tempted to just ban you for calling 62 people scammers, with no proof to back it up.
