There are still people who hold the opinion that there should be no refunds. I haven't seen them make a reasonable argument, but they cling to their beliefs nonetheless.

Hopefully, the 27 players with real claims will simply not join the class, if it even gets certified by the court, and will be given a reasonable resolution of their claims, leaving the bustout dumb enough to file a class action lawsuit with bustouts like ck, awaiting their $25.00 food vouchers in 2015, less fees and expenses.

Maybe you should explain why people who busted out on day 1s where there is no evidence of cheating are entitled to refunds, as we have only seen nonsensical arguments from the attempted freerollers.

Assume he was the only cheater and he only played day 1 b, why should players who busted out day 1a or 1c be given refunds? How were they cheated?

Clearly if there are more cheaters, other cheaters played different days or even Lusardi played all three days, it changes things. I guess it is possible to have others "involved" but they did not add chips to their stacks. Seems improbable.

Right now, we know of one cheater who played day 1b who had a big enough stack to have all the known fake chips in it. If there is no evidence of other cheaters using other fake chips on other days, how were day 1 a or c cheated?

If you guys are seriously arguing that Borgata should give refunds to 1a and 1c players on the grounds that there might have been extra cheaters, then why shouldn't they give refunds to those of us who might have played in the tournament but didn't? I've played at Borgata plenty of times, so why am I not entitled to a refund?

I'd also like pain and suffering compensation, because I'm feeling nervous about playing at Borgata now.

So lets get this straight. Lusardi came in Day 1b and there are players from 1a and 1c that busted out and think they are entitled to a refund,right?
Hypothetical, If Lusardi did not introduce chips until day 3 would you still think you are entitled to a refund if you busted out before?

There is no way in hell Borgata is going to issue a refund for those players that played on the days Lusardi was not in Tournament. The best you can hope for is a free roll tournament for all players that entered the tournament

The intellectual dishonesty of pipes, ck and riverph is captured in the last few posts. They can not even admit that certain players would not have been effected by the cheating and are undeserving of refunds if the extent of the cheating is narrowed to only one day 1 or even, hypothetically, if the fakes were introduced on day 3.

false, see pokerstars tournament cancellation policy which is perfectly fair.

that said, i can't imagine 1mil came from 1 guy on 1 day. people who cashed without cheating still deserve to be paid and people who busted after cheating occurred deserve refunds.
