Yep, Phil Ivey is a right spoiled little $#!~. He's a terrific player, and consequently regarded as a great *hero* here on 2+2, but it's obvious from this week of "Prop Bets After Dark" that he is nothing more than an uncultured action junkie, almost an idiot savant. I would rather watch Bob Safai, who himself acted like a jerk last time he was on PAD, in Ivey's seat.

These people are fools. Phil Ivey doesn't give a rats @$$ about them, and obviously finds them an embarrassing annoyance (but then so do I).

Its clear that Durrrr and Ivey>Antonius.

Durrrr and Ivey play like they can see all the cards face up. Unbelievable.

nice overbet by durrr. i was pretty confident it would work as soon as he made it. pretty smart against eli, definitely the ideal player at the table to do that against. tom has a hand that it's almost impossible to put him on, and there were tons of draws on the turn that all completely bricked. of course the reality is that tom wouldn't actually overbet bluff that spot exactly because he can't represent much and it does look so suspicious. but i don't think he has much respect for eli's depth of thought and so it was a perfect spot to bet huge and have eli go "oh this crazy kid try to bluff me, missed your flush eh, and plus i'll still be ahead $ even if i lose! i cawl you"

The talk after the hand where Ivey floated twice with 75 on the AA3A board, then bluffed Antonius off Q-high was pretty sick.

Antonius: "I know you have like 7-9."

Ivey: "And you were going to call with king-high."

Then Antonius was bothered by it for a few hands, and then Ivey joked and said, "Why do you care about that 4,000."

i kinda doubt it since they've been playing together all summer. It's more like he's excited he's found a new BFF (who's as big a gamblor as he is).

Friday's episode was pretty solid - the AAAxx PA vs PI was great and the last hand of the night was really really interesting, too.

Loved the last hand, Durrrr played it perfect, Ely thinks Dwan has a Flushdraw again. Also really bad call with the JJ by Howard against Ely with KT, what on earth can Howard beat on that board?

That's funny, I specifically remember him mentioning them on Poker Road and he said something to the effect of "They are my friends, not just some random fans that follow me around, I have known them for a long time." And also, I think mentioned having dinner with them or something.

That 57 vs q7 hand was beautiful. If Antonius called there it might have been the best televised hand ever.

well im almost positive that this show was filmed in october of 2008, so this could very well be the 1st or 2nd time that dwan had played live with ivey.

I think Ali is doing a poor job explaining the props. I can imagine how confused the casual viewer is with all that talk about red and black cards etc. He should explain that they are betting on the color of the flop and if one players have all red/black cards they have an extra incentive to raise etc.
