Foldn,

Did the late Tim invite white supremacists on his show?
03-27-2015 , 02:03 AM
I mean, if you're asking me if he had conservatives on his show, that's a silly question.

Did they compare black people to children? Because respectful discourse is a 2 way street. Did standard, representative conservatives compare Mexicans to cockroaches on the air?
03-27-2015 , 09:18 AM
No ****, waaaaaaaahhhhh the mods aren't letting me compare poor people to children without banning the meanies who criticize it waaaahhhhh
03-27-2015 , 09:20 AM
Seriously Foldn, comparing racists and slave rapers to scum is a pretty standard, common, run-of-the-mill liberal position. Why can't you be a little more respectful of people who offer up this relatively ordinary argument?

Most conservatives (and many others) would be white supremacists. How far from main street would you even put Jib's view on welfare?

Chez, given you left the thread rather than actually answering specific questions on the last page, why should anyone answer your questions?
03-27-2015 , 10:41 AM
Lol, I deleted a mean-spirited post I made in this thread a couple of days ago about how cockroaches don't know how analogies work. Now I kinda wish I had left it.

Just about 12 hours later, Foldn goes down the exact same off topic path that got the above posts moved here.

Hope the ban hammer starts coming out for continuing to take the BruceZ butthurt outside the containment thread.

just wanted to say, i respect grear/pipes more than duffe/negs/jibs. at least the former are 'honest racists'.

Yes. Loads of them.
03-29-2015 , 11:57 AM
Yeah, and it looks like he even makes a fool out of them.

LOL Brian, SMPers are so unfamiliar with the concept of "knowing what the **** you're talking about" that even after a Politard went and did the research and posted it in this thread, he still thought he had a point to score.

Brian, why are you here?
03-29-2015 , 05:39 PM
I'm going to repost this here for the SMP crowd, since they don't seem to read non-racial Politics threads:

The hills you continually pick to die on says more about your inner-self than any words that come out of your mouth or keyboard.

I was pretty much like that in my 20s as are most men I'd reckon. Women may be ruled by emotion - but at least they realize it. For me at least it was incredibly eye-opening when I made the realization that the arguments I pick are more important than the arguments I make - and the arguments I pick are never based on pure reason.

Ever been around someone who constantly brings up pedophilia, in a completely rational objective way? Who knows that there's some tribe somewhere where young boys fellate older tribesmen as a rite of passage? Yeah that's a red flag. If they bring it up once, fine. They may have read it. But if that kind of thing comes up several times - you can bet there's something inner-conflicted stuff going on, or worse.

Someone who's always bringing up race? Always wanting to get into a *real* discussion about race where stuff like entitlements or genetics eventually comes up? Major red flag. Score bonus points if that person likes to say racist things ironically, totally just a joke of course nothing real intended.

Someone who for some reason feels it's important to point out that they found some information online which says only 1 million Jews died it in the Holocaust, not 6 million. You know that's a red flag.

You keep score here? Interesting.

Weird that I offered up the reason why I am here in response to a post you made in this very thread and you somehow missed it. Is that an example of you not "knowing what the **** you are talking about" or is it something different?
03-29-2015 , 05:56 PM
I was tempted to link that post either here or in PU, but the people it's targeted at are just going to nod their head in agreement and think it applies to other people, not themselves.

Honestly you're just plain wrong if you think we think we're 100% ruled by reason or don't read non-racial politics threads.

It's actually a total misunderstanding on your part.

You just made the exact same point I did - anyone who thinks they are ruled by 100% reason is flat-out wrong.
