None of the above. It's not worth the drive.

5-10 and 2-5 NL should be running at TV the whole weekend, as far as mixed & PLO, your probably SOL unless you want to play 4/8 FLO8

Don't let barber scare you off. I'll talk to our staff and see about getting the game. If there is interest we will run it.

Also erle is right big cash games running during the current series.

I saw some 10k+ stacks last night or night before in that NL game.

Also thinking of heading to the hpt in September, would also be interested in getting a mixed cash game going if it's possible. I'll probably play in the horse event.

Hey I'm moving back to sac after four years in the army and trying to see what the bedt places are to play these days. When I last played in sac limelight and CC were the best places generally but I imagine TV is the place to play now. 2/5 NL mixed with occasional 5/10 is my normal game so just looking for advice. Thx all

2/5 you have Capitol Casino which runs a game most days of the week and Thunder Valley.
CC has a 200-1k buy in where TV cap is 500.

2/5/10 check out Casino Royale on Tue and Wed around 5pm. or Thunder Valley 5/10 on weekends.

Thunder Valley 2/5 plays 10 handed. 5/10 plays 9. The local card rooms play 9.

Another nuance about TV is that it has a strict line rule. Any chips the cross the line are considered a bet.
So for example say you're in a hand HU. Guy bets 30, you have 60 in your hand, push it forward to drop down a call, everything in your hand plays. This also is the case when you are betting. So just be careful to only have chips you want to bet or call with in your hand and nothing more.

Funnest game by far is the CR game. Has a cast of colorful characters and never a dull moment.

appreciate the quick review. sounds like a lot of the same except TV might not be as juicy as i was thinking. never played CR tbh used to play CC mostly and limelight on occasion. then again, this was 4 years ago so ill prob check most these places out. thanks again!
